    Great video. I am a Jordanian Chechen. I would like to add that the Chechens came what’s now know as Jordan over 100 years ago and they helped to build Jordan.

      @enas basıyanık. No the Arabic bible isn't used by Syriacs and Copts only, it's also used by Arabs who lived in the Levant region, Iraq, the Arabian peninsula and Egypt way before Islam, and they did use the word Allah to refer to the one and only God.
      There's no proof what so ever that Syriacs and Copts were "Ordered" to use this name you're making things up, and in their languages they still don't use it, we're talking here about Arabs, Arab Christians pray to Allah before Islam and they still do.
      Anyway man, I'm not willing to waste more time, i just wanna tell you, go back to true monotheism and leave this idolatry, Allah doesn't have partners, He begets not, nor is He begotten and there is none like unto Him، he doesn't need a human sacrifice to forgive our sins, he's all powerful all merciful, you're gambling with your afterlife, take a step back and think th-cam.com/video/ZNgdqgduC7Q/w-d-xo.html

    Among the Caucasian groups, Circassians and Armenians were described as coming to Jordan at the end of the Ottoman empire, while Chechens were singled out as refugees. Rightfully so, many in the comments took issue with this. If I'm not mistaken, this probably stems from a confusion on the part of the publisher that the Chechens have come to Jordan during the recent Chechen wars starting in the 90s of the 20th century, when many Chechen refugees arrived in Europe. That's not the case in Jordan. Chechens have arrived in Jordan at the turn of the 19th century, and established towns and communities towards the end of the Ottoman empire before modern day Jordan had existed as a political entity. And again fleeing from persecution in their homeland as was the case with the other groups.

      @edps cupcake The Armenian Highlands have nothing to do with the Caucasus. and the city of Yerevan is a Persian city that was conquered by the Russians. In the south Caucasus, Stalin gave 50% of the land of Caucasian Albania to Azerbaijanis and Armenians, and annexed the remaining 50% to Dagestan. These lands of Udin and Lekov are under the occupation of Armenians and Azerbaijanis. It is only thanks to these people that Armenians Azerbaijanis consider themselves Caucasians

      well other than in the deep south of Jordan where you can see Petra and a lot of Romans and Greek influenced architecture, most of Jordan artitecture are the same like in other levantines architecture because Jordan used to be part of the Romans and Byzantines sphere of influence. Most native Arabs Jordanian were Bedouins so their dwelling were mostly tents unless you go to the north where they bordered Syria and Palestine. Over there you can see a lot of Roman, Persian and Greek influence and not to mention crusaders influences in Kerak where they build European style castle.

The North-West of Jordan is the most dense, and it is only farmer Jordanians. Places like Al Salt, Al Karak, Al Shobak are not Bedouins as well. It's a stereotype.

Before jordan established as country they live on doing raids on people live farmers living mainly in north western regions of Jordan. They were raids on south western regions but were minimal comparing to north western regions.

      That's the reason the 1st wave of circassian royal guards offered their protection of the amir abdullah and sharif Hussein, Bedouins used to do a lot of carriage and caravan raids, no offense to anyone but this is history.

    • @shapsugh1864
      @shapsugh1864 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ala abdel alwahab it's not about liking a king or not it's about their lifestyle they live to raid and travel to spots of water in the desert (oaisis), the royal guards only work in the kingdom most of the time in the royal castle, there is a special unit to guard the king that are not circassian guards, this unit was with the king when he got shot shows you how Arabs work against each other for stupid reasons instead of uniting.

    • @shapsugh1864
      @shapsugh1864 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ala abdel alwahab I don't see how the guards are at fault, it's the decision of the king not the guards they just do the protecting portion IF he was in the royal Castle-throne...

    • @shapsugh1864
      @shapsugh1864 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ala abdel alwahab also it is better to have someone come over and rule you, because tribalism is bad you'll never see justice if one tribe rules all the other tribes, but if someone else came and ruled over he won't be biased, look at Lybia for example it is split into two countries Haftar and tribalism, everyday we hear about a boy killed in name of a tribe and the other tribe starts shooting another tribe and it becomes a civil war. Look at our tribal law in Jordan if someone from a tribe kills another guy from a tribe the law can't do anything and it's for the tribe to decide and usually the wasted life is forgotten with a big meeting and mansaf....

    • @shapsugh1864
      @shapsugh1864 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Ala abdel alwahab actually it always ends in جاهة and some mansaf instead of doing what God said an eye for an eye, a life for a life.

    Circassians and other caucasians were not settled in Jordan by their own will. They took refugee in Ottoman Empire and the Ottoman government settled some of them today’s Jordan because Bedouins were reluctant to settled down as sedentary people. City of Amman built for them. Also Ottomans settled them almost all provinces of Empire. Today 1 million Circassians live in Turkey.

  • @enusayr
    @enusayr 3 ปีที่แล้ว +23

    The statement "the majority of Jordanians were originally Bedouin", is factually incorrect. In 1948 before the influx of the first wave of Palestinian refugees, the majority of the population east of the River Jordan where Fellahin. They were landowners or land workers who lived in the villages of Hauran, Ajlun, Balga and Moab.
    There are political reasons for why the ruling regime advocates the non-factual piece of propaganda that the majority were Bedouins. But I don't want to get into that because it's too long of a topic.
    Salam!

      True but the nomads are the backbone of Jordan. Also during the ottoman times there was a very aggressive movement of settling of the nomads in Jordan, Syria, Lebanon and Palestine ie Al sham or greater Syria. The nomads were a headache for the ottomans so they tried very hard to settle them and only found success after a sever drought hit Al sham. Furthermore after settling them the ottomans tried to dissolve the population by settling with them Greeks, jews and other ethnicities from around the empire. As for the falaheen that life is considered semi nomadic as opposed to urban centers which of course existed as well and I don't deny a bit of probaganda but not to the extent you might think.

      Your assertions are not correct. The Fellahin are descendants of Aramaic speaking populations that were Arabized during the centuries after the Arab conquest and occupation of the Levant. It is true that some Bedouins were semi nomadic like Bani Hasan, but they remained a minority relative to Fellahin population. I don't know where you got the "greek" and "Jew" story from, it is simply not true.
