THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS I HAD A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT LOST HALF OF MY MEMORY AS A CHEF BUT I REMEMBER MY ARTISTIC TERMS USE TO TEACH ART NOW I DECORATE CAKES AGAIN ❤❤❤❤
I am going to make this for my stepdaughters’ graduation party! Thank you Mary for sharing this❤️ I have made a few acrylic pour paintings in the past but never thought of using the idea for a cake!
Gracias por el gran trabajo , tengo una pregunta y si haces en el papel de azúcar impreso? Es igual como un fondant solo tendras que verter el glaseado transparente
This is the coolest cake Ever Mary! I love the look and when I have time..gonna give it a try! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful work of edible art with us! 🥰😊💜💙💗💕💕💕
So beautiful! Thanks for sharing! How did you add the edible gold into the sprayer. Did you add it dry or you mixed with liquid before you add it.... I assume you leave it dry after that before placing on the cake? Asking for clarification purpose pls. I await your response Thanks
Great aand beautiful work! I have 2 questions regrading the glaze: what kind of chocolate do you use? Candy melts or real chocolate? The recipe mention chocolate chips used to bake, I thought they were hard to melt. Second, the recipe says not to pour over fondant, does it need to have any extra care to work like you showed in your video? Thank you a lot!!!
Spectacular! I can't wait to try this.. Such an artist! And your combination of video editing and explaining your technique is great- no extra fluff.. Thanks for that. Do you use a dry or damp sponge to go over the confectioners glaze? Best regards!
Beautiful. I've always been a fan of acrylic pour. This is a genius way to use it on cake. Will the mirror glaze need refrigeration? It's humid where I live
Thanks! Yes absolutely refrigerate;) I have left it out after refrigeration for up to 3 hours before serving with no problem. But that is in an air-conditioned environment.
I have an extra freezer but it’s a stand up. Guess I’ll have to wait until next winter and put it in a large plastic bin and put it outside in my car! 😂😂😂
Love to try this. It is so amazing but I don't think it will fit in my refrigerator. Maybe if I did a 4 inch cake. Where do you get your cake pans from? Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜
Gorgeous cake!!! I'm curious can this set up in the fridge just as good as the freezer? Not sure if I could just let it set up longer in the fridge as my freezer is not big enough to hold a whole sheet of fondant.
I would think so! I haven't tried it but I do know that as they have set in my fridge after filming they do get more and more set up. It may take 2 days instead of one. I wish I had the time to test that:( Maybe at some point I can try.
Hi just beautiful. Do you put the fondant in the freezer or in the refrigerator? If the answer is freezer how is your fondant so pliable? Do you let it come back to room temperature? Also, does the confectionner's glaze leave an aftertaste?
Freezer! And I don't know why it stays pliable but I just think it has something to do with the glaze keeping it that way. The glaze is made with white chocolate so I think it tastes pretty amazing;)
These cakes are beautiful!! Do you think I could tape 2 pieces of acetate together to get the height I need? Once the cake is fully decorated, does it need to be refrigerated?

Amazing
Amazing 🤩
so beautiful
Beautiful
Gorgeous awsum i need your base vanilla cake and chocolate cake recipe which is you use in your cakes plz 🙏🙏🙏🙏
i lake so much your work cake
Absolutely gorgeous!!! I will practice your technique. I wonder, how do you transfer the cake to a cardboard and then to the box? Thanks
I always have a cake board underneath. I would have the cake on the finishing board before you put the wrap around it. Then it is ready to be boxed;)
This is gorgeous Mary you are a whizz! I don’t have a spray gun, do you know a painting brush method I can do for the gold balloons?
Great aand beautiful work!

Thanks! I used it dry but it wasn't dry for long;)

Favoloso!!!
This is so cool! Quite glam and galactic! 😍
Que bolo e esse !!! Lindo
I have an extra freezer but it’s a stand up. Guess I’ll have to wait until next winter and put it in a large plastic bin and put it outside in my car! 😂😂😂
Absolutely love this cake but I would definitely make the gold balls edible for a client. Thanx for the inspiration 💞💞💞💞💞
For sure for a client I would;)
Love to try this. It is so amazing but I don't think it will fit in my refrigerator. Maybe if I did a 4 inch cake. Where do you get your cake pans from? Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜
My pans are just Wilton. I do have some taller ones but to be honest, I don't know where they are from. I got them on Amazon a long time ago.
Gorgeous cake!!! I'm curious can this set up in the fridge just as good as the freezer? Not sure if I could just let it set up longer in the fridge as my freezer is not big enough to hold a whole sheet of fondant.

Have you ever used cream cheese frosting when using fondant because some people don't like the buttercream
Ilove انت رائعة شكراً على كل المعلومات
Wooow 👏👏i love it 😍😍
Does fondant melt ?? Because
glaze has water ??🤔🤔
Nope;) It is just fine;)
Can't wait to try this! When the cake is done, how long does the glaze stay firm at room temp? Does it start dripping down off the fondant at all?
Sorry I just saw your question! I know it is probably too late, but I have left them at room temp for 4 hours;)
Hi just beautiful. Do you put the fondant in the freezer or in the refrigerator? If the answer is freezer how is your fondant so pliable? Do you let it come back to room temperature? Also, does the confectionner's glaze leave an aftertaste?

@@sophisticakesbymary Thank you!
nice good edea❤❤
Thank you for this I had been wondering how I could do acrylic pour in edible form
These cakes are beautiful!! Do you think I could tape 2 pieces of acetate together to get the height I need? Once the cake is fully decorated, does it need to be refrigerated?
Sorry I just saw this! I know it is too late, but yes. You can tape them together and keep it refrigerated;)
Aww Mary this is just so stunning 💕👏👏💯 thank you so much for taking the time to show us this technique 🏴🥰💯💐
Absolutely gorgeous cake. I love the colors you used. And the technique for the design is amazing. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜
