When working on a van that is within manufacture warranty. If that van has an issue with any electrical system and VW can see that the rear lights have been cut into the loom then they are in there rights to void the vans warranty for the electrical system. This will then make these tail lights an expensive upgrade. If they could make the rears plug and play the same as the front then that’s fine.
Hi, thanks for your comment! Rear looms for the lights were not cut. The plugs were de-pinned and then re-pinned into the correct plugs for the genuine VW LED lights.
Hi, thanks for reaching out! If you're talking about the "auto" function on your light switch, which switches your dipped beam on and off dependant on light, then yes they work as normal.
@ hi, no when I specced the van I had the option of automatic dipping the high beam to avoid blinding oncoming traffic (Adaptive)I would like to upgrade the lights but don’t want to lose this function, tia
