Looks fab. so i think i am going with the grey and will probably get the same wheels as you have. as the colour and the wheels really look great together.
Paul Weston that sounds like a dream machine! Really please with my Vossens as they fit superb and compliment the van. I have removed them for the winter to install a winter set up (not because you have to!!)Just give me a different look for 3-4 months and then I put the Vossens back on for the majority of the year. But while I was waiting for the winter wheels and tyres I ran the stock wheels for a week or so and I prefer the drive with the wider wheels. There is less impact through bad roads which is the opposite to what I read online 🤷♂️. All the best with your new van 👍
Nice job bud, I've been looking at these lights recently both the headlamp upgrade and the daylight running grille LEDs. Silly question perhaps but what's the radar cut out for in the front grille?
Many thanks in advance Eddie
Hi bud, cheers, the radar cut out if for the radar that detects vehicles that have stopped in front of you and assists braking if ness. 👍
@@SteveField Hey Steve, I fitted my new V2 lights today on my T6 and they look pretty decent. I also got the LED fog light kits too which I thought would be worth doing too. One thing I noticed is that when the indicator is turned on the respective fog light for that side comes on until the indicator is turned off. Do you know by any chance if they're meant to do that?? I've contacted TransporterHQ but its a bit late in the day so thought I'd tap your brain!! Thanks in advance. Eddie
eddieq1905 Hi Eddie, Yes as you might be running the factory settings if you have never changed the settings the default is turning the wheel or indications will light the relevant fog light up. You can use a Carista to turn this feature off! I turned that off on mine and set things so the in the daytime the headlight DRL on the indicating side with go out while the indicator is on. (That only applies if not using dipped headlights) do you own a Carista?
@@SteveField Ah amazing Steve thank you so much for the prompt reply. Alas I don't own a Carista, but hey you live and learn. I'll google it and see if I can get hold of one. Something else to get involved with!! Best wishes mate
eddieq1905 I know tell me about it 😂. Good news is they go for under £20 and the software goes through an app on your phone. @dubiousengineering made a video on Carista a few months ago so may be that will give you some idea how, what & why etc👍
hows the lower grill lights going now any problems with them
Faultless buddy! They have given me no issues and work there magic every time I drive 👌
Nice job I meant 🙈.....big fingers ...lights are really cool ,do they bring up any warning lights on the dash ?.
And can you tell me how much they cost .
Thanks
Del
Hi Del, thanks buddy! No the are code clear! no extra coding required with these just plug & Play!! I have put a direct link in the description to the lights if that helps but they were £480.00 delivered including the super-white bulbs. P.S at prersent THQ offer a free fitting on this part if you live near enough to get in there! :-)
Hi mate ,
Nice jog
another great video. did you get the lower drl from traverling lite too?. i only need the drl.
Thanks Buddy :-) Yes the Lower DRL & lower Grill both came from Traveling Lite. you can buy the DRLs from them without the center grill too
How do the standard even pass an mot
I Know! such a big vehicle with all that space to mount a decent headlamp and they give you dynamo system lol.
😝 its a disgrace
How much are those lights?
Which ones?
@@SteveField The main headlights. I’ve just watched the video and have the same vehicle but what you’ve just done might be too much for me lol.
Ah… Nice!👍. The main headlights are currently about £455 from Transporter HQ. Although they do free main order….I do believe they might still offer free fittings if they are close enough. The product link in in the description if your interested👍
@@SteveField that’s brilliant, thanks for taking the time to reply. All the best 👍
I know where to come if I want to change my headlight on my t6
Camper Man 😂👍
Nice vid as always BUT cutting / accelerating the electric part when the video is supposed to show how to put DRL lights.. completely wrong especially because i expected some help about that 😅
Awesome T6 btw !
Sorry buddy. I am not great at making tutorials so I try to film what im doing in a cinematic way in the hope that it maybe of help or interest... but Im sorry for speeding up the bit you needed. good luck with yours and thanks.
Nice Job Steve.. Also good help and patience from your girlfriend.. 😉✌
Thanks buddy. I couldn’t have done it without her, and she is very helpful 👍
The ones in the video clip please
Ok so in the clip it is running the Vossen CVT 20” wheels. 9j on the front 10.5 j on the rear (I have a video on these search wheel reveal) and the suspension in the clip was running stock dampers with Ebach Pro 50mm lowering springs 👍
Hahaha... epic!
Thumbs up from me mate!
@@DubiousEngineering Thanks buddy! I see yours is coming along very nicely!!!
nice car
Cheers 😎
Exelet
Thanks :-)
you should get airride suspension from plush for it.
Definitely something im thinking about :-)
And I'm still waiting for the jack details....
Sergei S apologies my friend I couldn’t find which video you had commented on again. But this is the model
Clarke CTJ3000G - 3 Tonne Professional Garage Jack from Machine Mart. 👍
VW has bad engineers, tot change healights you need to uninstall the whole front bumper, it could have been done simpler
Agreed! could have been made much easier
