I think that many people do not put their truck into 4WD because they either want to see how well they do in 2WD rear drive, OR they are afraid to go into 4WD because they are on solid pavement and are worried it will hurt the transmission.

I think electric boats will make a huge impact in the tender market because they are virtually maintenance free and generally gently used for relatively short trips. Get ready. It's coming.

Ford trumps all other trucks. My boss gets a new truck every 10 years, (2003,2013,2023) always a Ford. The only reason he buys new is to write it off for taxes. I've been with him 28 years. He gets close to 200k mi. with little maintenance. Brake pads, fluid changes.
I know several people with new Chevy's & Dodges:recalls, problems: JUNK. A Dodge with 30k mi. rides like a Chevy with a 150k.
