For over 100 years humans have been making small motorized ocean going fishing, lobster, and shrimp boats, most have raised bows and enclosed bows. WTF with the lowered open bow on a 65 foot offshore boat???
I'm no nautical engineer, but 5 outboards on a 65' boat just seems stupid. I guess there's a reason as everyone does it. But I would imagine a couple of big inboards could run just as fast, yet be quieter, more fuel efficient, easier to maintain and even cost less.

This channel just deals with people navigating this inlet due to It's tendency to be extremely rough. In this particular case, the guy in the 65 ft HCB isis demonstrating he doesn't know what he's doing and doesn't know how to pilot a boat. With a boat that size he should have had no trouble at all navigating these seas. Bow scoops down so you can see over bow from helm… Taking water over the bow in that big of a boat, that has to be embarrassing. There is a sweet spot for center consoles and 54 feet is well outside of it
That’s obviously because there’s no captain on board. Even though the conditions are rough there’s no reason that boat couldn’t manage that if he knew how to ride those inbound waves.
