Since watching these tutorials my overall sound has gone up levels. I study all these videos over and over and have helped me acieve a much more professional sound than any other video i have come across. Keep it up! Your videos help me greatly
Great tutorial I been looking for someone to explain everything from melody to kick or pad. I follow you channel all videos is very helpful for me. Thank you Demis Hellen!
Wow, this tutorial was perfect. Thank you very much. I'm trying to learn how to make trance and I have the beginnings of a good track but I'm struggling with how to make it sound more natural and less wooden and with choosing the right instruments. This tutorial answered both questions and gave me more info about chords (tbh I'd kind of worked it out already but having it explained really helped). I hope you have similar guides on basslines and percussion 👍
This is gold! Thanks bro! Gonna be watching this a few times! Thanks man. Look forward to hearing more about those one to one sessions you mentioned! :D
Well has you are aware there are countless amounts tutorials covering different aspects of producing and it's taken me countless hours to try find a good tutorial on Trance Melodies, literally step by step I've created a mint melody. Thanks, I will be keen to see what else you can teach me. On the plus side, you operate on cubase too.
Great tutorial and the way of explaining how to get the right sound while still showing that there can be trial and error.👍 The more complex pad chords kinda sound like Avicii Silhouettes chords.😂
You can find this as a free download via my Facebook page under “free downloads” tab on the left bar. A fully mixed and mastered version will be due out some point this year.
Wow you got a great sounding arpegio, it makes me remember to the sound in "Trozitos de navidad" by Mark marzenit, great video demis!, i prefer the second pad too. Have a great day!
I really love how you turned that riff into something better. You mentioned the scale of C but yet we aren't in C here, because of the blatant F#....so it's modal C ( since the riff seems to be rooted on C, the F# suggests modality because it's trying to move to G major) Maybe I'm just being anal. But which mode is it then? ...Aeolion? I'm honestly very unsure about this myself. Great video though, I really enjoyed the reinvention :-)
I did not go into the details just based on my time on the video. I am trying to not too bogged down with theory as other channels cover this better than I can. However it is necessary to cover it in certain aspects to help get the point across.
I always wonder why you copy most effects (Reverbs etc) and don't work with sends Or is this just for simplicity? as with bigger projects I got serious VST performance issues if I won't use sends
Tbh I just copy them during the tutorials for ease. I use sends but set them up later on. However a sometimes I want different reverb settings to create a unique space in the mix.
Thanks very much , taking something so complicated and explaining it so simply ,is just perfect
the melody is just awesome!!!!!!! absolutely beautiful melody even the basic first stuff you made
Reminds me of Airport by Photographer, nice progression!
amayzing! so simple, so useful

We can use both the pad parts at different times for some variation
I've definitely developed better musical structure since finding your channel thanks so much
The best tutorials going, thank you.

You seem to work the same way I do... I also put my ideas to the right :-)

@@demishellen of course I like 😎
Excellent
Thanks John, you enjoying the content recently? Been a huge change to the one video per day schedule I had through March.
Sensational !!

Very nice
Kindly can you share the scales and code website ?
cant see over google though
my method: in fl studio one empty sampler ghost with scale my rule 4/3 chord
Interesting approach. Always looking into new ways to show chord building.
@/demishellen whats the name of the tracK??? did you release it somewhere?
Good job. Nice transformation. Is that a pluck sound from Massive presets in the intro?
Of course it is 🙂
Hey Demis, where can I find the song from the intro? I love it!

That must be a good thing to remind you of that. You have a great day too.
just curious where did you get the jp8080 supersaw wavetables?

It C Lydian - the sharp 4th (F#) is the giveaway. So 4th mode of G major.
@@theanalogkidmodular modal trance is the new wave

bruh i don't even know how to make your "boring" melody...
That’s good then, straight to the good melodies. 😎 seriously though it’s just practice and knowledge building. 👍🏻
