I don’t know if you will see this or not but I just want to say thank you.. I’ve been going through your videos the last couple of weeks and now I’m making better melodies, better sounding tracks and have also been producing more than I would usually, I love learning different techniques and it gives me a lot of inspiration and drive to create better sounding music…
I really appreciate your videos, thank you 🙏🏼🙂

That drop to the third chord is entrancing. Makes one want to hear what's next.

Nice.... would like to see how you progress into the next ideas for this track... I say hell with it... make a full track outta it.... tutorial....
I personally have hundreds of 8-32 bar trance projects saved. None of them become songs as arrangements is so hard for me... I have tons of Loops I make that sound sick but fail to make it into a song. If anyone is running Logic Pro X and wants to colab to make a project then feel free to message me.
    Demis! Outstanding videos. Thank you.
I’m a walking United States Mailman. And I walk and listen to your vids to help me with my production....
I just love making my own trance productions as a relaxing hobby. 😊

Start with anything that inspires you. I usually find a midi and I go from there. Great video Demis.

Everyone has their own ways, sometimes it’s a groove then the next time it’s a preset that inspires me. 🙂

I always start by creating pads and then I put arpeggio to see how it sounds. Then I side chain them both and add kick to see if it sounds ok. The only thing I hate about making a full track, is the arrangement. Like what style I would like to go, should I start with bass or drums. But by trying to see what is good and trying referencing to other realised tracks, I usually get in there somewhere.

Reference tracking is always a good way to pick a structure best suited. If you like the reference track and the flow then it’s always a good start point for arrangement. 😎

Exactly what I have been needing for so long! I have always had a problem with kick and bass being muddy/low etc.

Sometimes a no nonsense approach works better than throwing plugins at everything. 🙂 good to hear this was useful to you 😎

    Just what I needed !
One thing I will add, it would be really helpful to see which keyboard shortcuts you use during your workflow.
I dont know if Cubase has an option for that or maybe a 3rd party tool, but that would be really sweet in my opinion.
    Thanks for the tutorials.

No reason why I could not implement this into future videos, I like to keep my videos clean so they don’t look dated in the years to come 🙂 great suggestion though.

I don't understand "Gain staging". What is the purpose of turning down the channels volume -6db and then gaining volume again with a plugin, instead of just moving the channel-volume fader up?
Nevermind, of course you also made a video about that here: th-cam.com/video/Z0qfPJYTSrI/w-d-xo.html :)
