I thought in the video he meant fanatic vest over stratus jacket, and not under it. Fanatic vest is way too bulky to be wearing it under stratus jacket.
@@BlackOvis Why would you ever need an incinerator outfit in Florida or Georgia. I live in the north east and hunt all winter long in all conditions including sub zero and the Fanatic suits me just fine. Hunters in the south east have no need for the incinerator with warmer temps. The Stratus would probably serve them well which is another outfit I wear down into the high 20’s and stay warm.
@@jayonez137 thanks for the comment, live in Florida and looking for my first piece, before I was going to go for the traverse with the timber camo but now the new camo cover came out and now is the new camo for the finatic I'm thinking will be the right choice
So I typically wear an XL jacket, if I’m throwing on a synthetic layer, then Marino followed by say an equinox hoody and lastly a fanatic jacket for my outer most layer, should I look into getting a XXL fanatic jacket or will I still have room to move with an XL fanatic jacket?

I think he meant living in the Northeast when he was talking about the incinerator. The last thing you need in the southeast is insulated Gore-Tex

He had to of meant north east. He also said the fanatic was the warmest piece. The incinerator is the warmest piece.

Size up if you don’t want a snug fit.
You would probably be fine with the XL unless you are right on the edge of the sizing.
Most people use the stratus in the southeast! They say the fanatic is too hot! 🤷
