    I don't know how many Sitka reviews I've watched but it would have saved me a lot of time if I just started with this one. Good, clear, review. Covered everything I was looking for. Thank you!

    Would love a comparison video between Sitka & Arc’teryx. I understand Sitka is primarily for hunting but I’ve also read reviews from customers who’ve purchased Arc gear for hunting too. Personally, I’m an Arc’teryx guy myself (mostly for military & day-to-day winter gear). Arc’teryx vs. Sitka - let’s see those comparisons!

    Thanks so much for posting this video. Looking to upgrade this year and to be honest, it's getting quite overwhelming. Sitka, Scentlok, Firstlite, Kiku, on and on and on. I'm coming from a history of basically Underarmour with a Redhead one piece suit.

    I only have three pieces of Sitka gear but it’s honestly all I really need. I run the Dakota vest&hoodie and delta jacket. My hoodie and vest are timber and my delta is Marsh. I can hunt year round with this set up in the PNW

    I thought about buying the waterfowl timber camo for hunting whitetails in the rain during rifle season... It's a dark camo and out blend in with the woods and tree stand being so dark. What do you think about that?

    Thank you for making these video. As one of your customer I'm too considering changing all of my camp and going with Stika. I primarily hunt whitetail in Alabama, and plan to hunt whitetail in the northern states sometime in the near future (God willing). Can you give me your recommendation? Thanks again.

    I bow hunt a lot, and looking to upgrade to Sitka. However, I can see that I hunt in temperature ranges between the stratus & incinerator. Do people ever layer the stratus & fanatic together during 🥶? Also, on sizing. I’m usually a large, 195lbs. But it feels tight, is it supposed to feel that way? Thanks you for informed videos! My boys & I love them

    I’m really enjoying your reviews since i am Brand new to Sitka. I just did a full day hunt this past Saturday and I used my current gear that I have, cotton t-shirt, cotton long sleeve shirt and a synthetic blend hoodie, and a cotton blend pant. Low was 42 high 62. I was chilly in the morning and got cold into the evening sitting in my stand in north east PA. If I want to dip my feet into switching to Sitka what do you recommend to go along with what I have to help me out for now until I can build a full Sitka line? I was considering maybe equinox pants since I have some Duofold base layer pants and maybe the equinox hoodie. But what do you recommend?? Thanks!!!

    Do you recommend using water repellant spray on the dakota? To help use it as a outer piece so it has some water proofness

      It comes with DWR already applied to repel water.

    What would you recommend for upland hunting? Temps are usually around 25 degrees plus wind but we are walking 4-6 miles a day. Needs to be resistant to thorns and branches.

    • @averageoutdoorsmanexperien9638
      @averageoutdoorsmanexperien9638 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jeff. I have the Hudson bibs and they are great for the couple of upland hunts I do every year. If I was chasing pheasant on a regular basis, I’d probably go with Filson’s bibs. They are about the same price and probably better for that type of application.

      I’ve wasted a lot of money on other brands (Drake, Red Head, Banded), now I will buy nothing other than Sitka, wish I wasn’t a cheap skate back then. You won’t regret it

    • @cowboyjack328
      @cowboyjack328 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      ngia yang I second that! I retired last fall. My friends knowing me well, gave me a bunch of cash for retirement party to use for hunting. I started buying Sitka and now I’m ruined. Lol. Won’t wear anything else! Wasted a bunch of money on other brands. Was into cabelas and banded drake. All that is about worn out and cabelas has gone down hill.
      Last fall I was so warm and comfortable and can’t believe how thin, light and comfortable Sitka is. I’m bought Waterfowl line last fall and switching to elevated for deer hunting. Don’t slam Sitka clothes until you tried! If you have the means and can afford, it is hands down best investment.

    • @kilohotel6750
      @kilohotel6750 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Definitely overpriced and nowhere as warm as they say. I purchased a lot of the waterfowl gear Fahrenheit vest, gradient jacket and boreal jacket and some pants and hats. You pay for the pattern that’s about it. My old USMC fleece is warmer than the gradient jacket and you can get one on eBay for $40
