@@RetroMoments hi what's the name of this shop in japnese pls. I am coming to Japan this year and would like to go to this store. But i cant locate it on Google maps. Thank you
Yea, it seems like they're only in Nagoya for some reason. 3 stores in total and I have one more left to check out later. Loving the atmosphere in there and like you said, great selection and great prices. Thanks for dropping by in the comment-section, Jim!
Never saw one of these stores whilst I was on holiday but we were only in Tokyo. I could spend a day in there looking at everything and still not be done. Great collection of gems. Awesome video again dude. Long videos are good so you can show off more of what you find 👍
Yea this store is a hidden gem :D And Im not sure if there is one in Tokyo actually. Cause theres very few of these stores overall in Japan! I have one more video where I went to a smaller Treasure Shop store if you didnt see it :) And yea, I could easily go back and spend hours in there too. Thanks for watching man!
Thanks bro! Really appreciate that. I definitely spent some time editing this actually! Yea I love how this store looks like and how they organized it. Definitely a store to visit for anyone who comes to Japan!
@@RetroMoments Definitely! Bro, the industry is waiting for the latest in Japan at these hours.. what's the latest on SEGA ? aside from the GameGear micros?

Adam! Loving the musical intro b-roll before getting into the game section👍👍👍Yea that rockman for neogeo pocket is pricey saw it once in super potato in akiba. Maybe not the most exciting add on then, hence the price. But was cool to see.
Right on Trevor! Probably my favorite store out of all the ones I've been to. So much good stuff and the prices are totally where they should be! Thanks for watching!
Hey Adam, I just found your channel yesterday and subscribed. Enjoying the content as I'm an ex-pat living in Osaka and just getting into retro game collection. Cheers for the tour I like seeing the prices of things to get an idea of what stuff is worth.

This is an amazing store would some great prices. That Nights & Controller and that looks like a great price. I spotted a PS Classic in there. I’d like to get the japanese variant to go with my PAL variant. I could go on and on, so many great games and at superb prices. I love all the unusual controllers and addons. I saw so many great items in there and every time I watch one of these type of videos it makes me want to go back to japan.
Oh I thought I answered you here. Strange. Anyhow. Yes, absolutely awesome shop. For people going to Nagoya with limited time, this is the one to visit in my opinion. Yea the Nights with the controller was totally worth it. Too bad I dont have a Saturn yet. Maybe that's something to dive into in the future. Thanks for watching, man!
Love watching your videos, especially this one since it is different from the usual Hard Off ones (which I don't mind but after a while you know what to expect haha). If possible, would we be able to see some more of those special/collectors editions of games in a future video? Always love seeing how massive some of those boxes can be.
Thank you Annie! Oh I totally get what you're saying haha! With every new Hard Off or Book Off video I always try to make sure I'm showing new games and new things. Sometimes its not that easy but I usually aim to film the most interesting stuff. Or things that I think people want to see. Absolutely. Great idea for a video. I used to live in Tama Ward. One day on my day off I walked in the opposite direction of where I usually walk which was the main stations of Mukogaokeyuen and Noborito. I lived right on the border of Ikuta Ryokuchi Park. I only stayed in Japan for about a year so just walking randomly anywhere was always exciting and new. But it was pretty much all residential and I would stop occasionally at a convenience store for a beer. But after like maybe two hours of my trek I stumbled upon a book off like store that I couldn't read the name in Japanese much like the one in the video. The collection wasn't as extensive as in the video but it had consoles that were cheaper than anywhere I seen. Gold N64's and the Pickachu N64 for like 40% for what they were going on ebay. I have photos and video of it it somewhere on my phone. The area it was in was probably the most "ghetto" area I seen in japan. some of the apartments looked would some would call "Projects' But that was the cheapest used store I seen. Also my GF was with me and bitching the whole way about walking so long.
Haha that was a great read. Thanks for sharing your story Nick! I love exploring new areas in Japan as well. And thats crazy! I'm sure there are quite a few hidden stores out there in Japan. What was this one called? I'd love the see the footage that you have.

Well most stuff is Japanese. But there are so many games you can play without language knowledge. Its possible to find EU/USA games and systems in the bigger Game Stores. Its not a lot of they usually have a few items.
In the hunt is fo for the ps1? I wonder if the prices went up Send to last been in Japan. My phone keyboard is messed up it's not letting me type but it's letting me do voice message
The names of the Japanese stores are very cool lucky cat 😀 you dont get copyright claims when the Japanese shops have music or commercials .. are you doing voice over or talk and filming in the store Adam?
Right!? :D I think so too. Only 1 video has copyright claims... Everything else has been good. Mostly voice over. But a few videos has been talk and filming.
Haha those are the right words :D No doubt its a ”holy moley” moment. Yea this chain is not known for foreigners at all. They do have a few more shops around Japan but theres not many. Maybe like 6 or 7 only if I remember correctly!
Amazing store! Excellent prices on about everything, even better then Super Potato and other Japanese game stores. If I ever had the money like winning the lottery or something, I would go there and possible buy a lot of stuff there. It would be better if there were more English translated title of the Japanese RPGs. Heck, I wish there would be good prices for these old game consoles and games in physical stores and/or online like this one, English games/consoles of course. If anyone knows any place online/U.S. with good prices like this, let me know. If not, just have to be lucky to have to money to collect certain consoles and games. Also neat there is crane game for a chance to get good quality stuff, wish there was more of those in Japan, heck I wish there be ones in the U.S., I bet many would play the heck out of them. As for videos, I personally like seeing more unusually/rare Japanese exclusive games, maybe places you can find for a decent price. Be nice to maybe see some for decent prices in the U.S. physically or online both English/Japanese or other country exclusives.
Yea this is my favorite store in Japan so far. They got a high amount of selection and prices are good here! Cant wait to get back and see what its in store this time around. Yea, I will focus much more on Japanese-exclusive games that are English-friendly in the future!
Anything that catches my interests, which can be all over to the place haha! But mostly Super Famicom / SNES, Neo Geo AES and GBA right now! What do you collect for Anthony?
@@RetroMoments I have Wii U and 3ds and recently got a Gamecube but it is so expensive in Australia. The Gamecube is region modded and uses swiss. Hopefully I can travel to Japan in the next year or so.

Been thinking about collecting for it, but as you said, its really shooting in price now unfortunately. Good thing, the prices are much better in Japan. Hope you can get over soon.
That looks a great store! Can you post the street address? Would be great to check it out next time visiting Japan Also did you buy anything for yourself? Cheers!
Probably the best store even! Sure its 5-16 Shinkaicho, Mizuho Ward. I did, Ecco the Dolphin and Sega Rally. There was much more stuff I wanted to buy but Im trying not to go too crazy. And I can always go back. Thanks for watching :)

Yes, that it true. Thank you for noticing that. I had other people wondering why Im skipping Final Fantasy games but I see no points talking about the same games all the time. Always trying to look and talk about new stuff :)

In the hunt is fo for the ps1? I wonder if the prices went up Send to last been in Japan. My phone keyboard is messed up it's not letting me type but it's letting me do voice message
Yes, also for the Saturn. Amazing game from the creators of Metal Slug!
Holy Moley. I've been to japan three times. But didn't know about this chain. Is it also nation wide?
Cool video. What systems do you collect for?.
Oh awesome! I have a 3DS but I dont use it as much as Id like too. Any must place games there?
GameCube is awesome! Really like that console too actually. Been thinking about collecting for it, but as you said, its really shooting in price now unfortunately.
Good thing, the prices are much better in Japan. Hope you can get over soon.
appreciate the time stamp
Great to hear that, man!
2:43 SEGA Rally Championship 1993🤩
By the way, Which platform is it for??🤔
SEGA Dreamcast. Its a fantastic arcade racing game :)
I like longer videos espacially if it goes through the lose carts of GB, GBC, GBA, Fami, SFC and n64
Right, thanks for the input. I like all of those systems too so will at least be more of that in any way :)
That looks a great store! Can you post the street address? Would be great to check it out next time visiting Japan
Also did you buy anything for yourself?
I love your videos. Do you live in Japan or just having a long visit?
Edit: nvm i just checked out ur insta and you definitely live there. Ahhh .... I wish i could live there too.
Thank you, happy to hear that!
Well actually, I am there about 2-3 month per year. But right now I am in Europe and hopefully I can get back soon!
Well, maybe you can live there. Its complicated but a lot of people make it!
Whoa thats a big store
It sure is, Aaden! Cool stuff everywhere!
Are Final Fantasy games so common to see so they just aren't worth mentioning usually? Great videos!
Yes, that it true. Thank you for noticing that. I had other people wondering why Im skipping Final Fantasy games but I see no points talking about the same games all the time. Always trying to look and talk about new stuff :)
Hour long video i would watch!
Yea I have no doubts about that when it comes to you :D
Are they still around? I can't find them on Google maps
Yes, they are alive! I know its a bit tricky to find on Google Maps, but here it is: goo.gl/maps/yuNLbZdAnMx8JWkT8

never heard of sakura taisen/wars?
I think someone was talking about it in the comments of an earlier video. Are you into it? Something to recommend, Alex?
Depends, if you aren't very into anime then its probably not for you otherwise I can recommend the first one that just got a english patch on the saturn or the ps4 game, great music in the games.
I used to be into Anime but havent watched any for at least 10 years. It sounds interesting though, I will check it out later :)
Longer videos please 😌
Noted 😃 I will try to do live streams in the shops for the future so there will definitely be longer videos then!
@@RetroMoments omg thank you yet again! 💪
I try to listen to everyone who is watching my videos! 👌
I have the rockman game for NGPC. I believe 200 is still okay today.

@@RetroMoments I'll have to sell a kidney first!
Hahah that might just be worth it lol
@@RetroMoments after watching the video I know it would be. Lol
Hahaha not surprised about that lol :D
seems like a nice shop, Wonder if they have locations outside of Nagoya. we have a few places in Saitama that most don't talk about as well. but nothing like this,
Yea I was pretty fortunate to have this one so close to my apartment. Theres not many of these Treasure Stores, in Nagoya we have 3 and I've seen that theres not many in Japan overall.
I would really like to see those stores in Saitama anyway. When are you going out filming some stores the next time?
Nice 👍
Thanks :D
Take me with you too Japan Adam 😊

Not exactly. You’re allowed to bring home 2 suitcases per person. Shouldnt matter if its all games in them :D
