I love how you showed off the N64 library in Japan, not a lot of import collectors talk about N64, a console I grew up with. You should show off the GameCube someday.
Glad to hear that, thanks! Right!? I noticed too that not a lot of people are talking about N64 in Japan when I was making this video. There will definitely be Gamecube in the future!
@@RetroMoments Well most people are more interested in stuff like the Saturn and PC Engine, maybe Dreamcast and pre-N64 Nintendo stuff. For me Saturn, while does have a great library of imports along with the Saturn, are just arcade ports.
N64 is just the best. Donkey Kong 64, Majora's Mask, Paper Mario, Mario Party, Pokemon Stadium. Wave Race & Pokemon Puzzle League are highly underrated lol, etc. Definitely shopping in Japan for n64 games. Love the video!
Yes! Maybe there wasnt that many games for it but many quality titles like you just mentioned. Yea, its worth saving all the money to buy it there. Or order them online from Japan. Thanks man!
Thanks kraidley! Glad to hear that. And I agree with you about that. There's also a GameBoy & Handheld Special episode on my channel if you're interested in seeing that.
Yea, its the cheapest retro-system to collect for in Japan! Hope it stays like this. Thanks man! My future videos will definitely be concept-based like this.
Are all those sealed boxed games new or unused? The condition seems very good so it's hard to believe they are used or refurbished. I really like the massive selection. I really enjoy watching your vids mate.
Thanks mate! And thanks for commenting. They are all used games actually. Another benefit with collecting japanese games. The people take care of their games, they always did. It was en incredible sight first time going to the stores seeing all these games in perfect condition.
Oh yes! Its so much fun running around stores in Japan. Hope you get to do it someday in the future too. Right on. Ive heard from some people that those japanese exclusive wrestling games are really good. Need to check them out soon.
Really cool videos! I wish to visit Japan someday. Hard off seems like an awesome shop! Do you live in Japan or just a frequent visitor? Looking forward to more videos in the future! /A fellow japanese game collector from Sweden. 😉
Thanks guys! Yea I hope you will get there one day. Its definitely a dream come true to just walk around the stores looking for games. And then theres so much more to country as well. I'm a frequent visitor I guess you could say. I am usually there for around 2-3 months per year. Thanks! Definitely have some great plans for the next time I go there.
Förstår det 😃 Åh, coolt! Har aldrig spelat Paper Mario. Bara testat det lite snabbt faktiskt. Oj! Hur fick du tag i OoT inplastad? Det känns inte som att man stöter på en sån varje dag! 😃
Goemon is highly underrated franchise. And Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon or Ganbare Goemon: Neo Momoyama Bakufu no Odori is my favorite game for the N64 and arguably better than Ocarina of time. Bring on the hate! After 24 years I've become battle hardened and expect it! PS; is you haven't already, get the PS2 game. Bōken Jidai Katsugeki Goemon has an amazing soundtrack and great gameplay/story.
Exactly what Ive been thinking too. Woah, thats something I dont hear every day, cool! I really liked Goemons Great Adventure. I didnt play the other one yet. Just tested it out. Oh nice! I havent played that either. I will check it out. Thanks Matthew!
Thanks Jessy! Oh 😃 The only reason I did that was because there wasnt any interesting games or its games that Ive shown / talked about before. But I understand what you mean. I will try to not do fast forward so much later. Thanks for watching!

@@RetroMoments Thanks for the reply. The cost of importing a 64 DD to Europe has risen to 212265+ Yen. I would be interested to know the shop price, if you see one! Cheers 👍
Oh totally! But N64 didnt go up as much as games from other systems, luckily. The common ones are still really cheap. I made a newer N64 video if you didnt see it yet. Just a few rare titles that spiked in price...

do you sell any japanese games? you should put up a lot of stuff on tradera dude here in sweden. these boxed games, especially n64 would probably sell.
I did sell a few things on Tradera and eBay actually :D Mostly I was looking for things to my own collection but I will be selling more games and consoles when I get back to Japan. Hopefully I can help my subscribers with getting stuff they want :)
Are funtastics less common there? I only saw the ice blue. I prefer the top gear rally japanese box art over us. The subaru impreza front and center! My fav rally car.
Yea, definitely compared to the regular one which is everywhere. But at the same time I wouldnt call it uncommon, because they still pop up every now and then. Oh yes! Definitely a better box art on Top Gear Rally, no doubt!

Majora’s Mask, without hesitation. One of the most unique games I’ve ever played.
007 och perfekt dark 😉
