Sir...I've a strong doubt. As you showed in the video about pre collision system. This is Toyota's own name while other brands call it Auto Emergency Braking under which car takes emergency brake if driver is not alert and something comes in front suddenly (not being in adaptive cruise control). So does it get that auto emergency braking feature or not as Google says hycross doesn't have that feature.
Hi, to clear your doubt let me give you a clear information about how this function works in Innova Hycross. In case the vehicle detects any object or vehicle in its lane, first you get a pre-collision alert on the MID which asks you to apply brakes. If you apply brakes, the system provides braking assist to minimize stopping distance. But if the driver fails to apply brakes and the system determines that the possibility of a frontal collision is extremely high, the brakes are automatically applied by this system to help reduce the collision speed. To conclude the same, it may not stop the vehicle completely, but it will reduce the intensity of the impact. Hope this helps to clear your doubt.
Hi, there is no dedicated option to do that, however you can manually reduce the volume using the volume down button or you can use the PWR button to temporarily turn off the audio.
