Absolutely in love with this beast. Looks good with safety and features for a self driver as well as a chauffeured "Bade Saheb". This car has Nickel-metal hydride battery which is more reliable and durable than now popular Lithium-ion battery. Also did i say this car looks awesome!😁 Knowing our infrastructure Hybrids make more sense than pure EV. Good move, Toyota!
But our government doesn't understand this and charges around 43% GST on hybrid car's whereas it's around 5% for EV's in India. All because Tata and mahindra controls the automobile market and our gov and they don't have the hybrid technology. But for India hybrid cars are the need of the hours .
Faisal u r fearless, when it comes to giving true views about rattling issues, even for that matter with Toyota, I think Innova crysta is a better option than hycross , as it is expensive.

The features are quite good but Toyota can certainly improve the camera quality and a Diesel engine is a must for a car of this size. The 2.8 Diesel was a 💎
S on the gear selector is Shift Range n not Sport mode. S4 means 4 is max gear the car shift normally upto, so S1 will be just 1st, S2 will be 1 n 2 n so on, really helpful when going uphill n downhill with engine braking
Toyota innova hycross is like the innova crysta came back after a serious workout.But without the 2.8 ltr t4di diesel engine which is a biggest bummer. Still this jacked up mpv will sell like hot hotdogs .
take a deep breath... slow down... panting all from start to end... i know so much to cover, yet the breathlessness is really something that cannot be ignored all the video.
Active 360 is very useful, when we are passing the lean lanes or passing close to other cars the cam activates and shows the full view of the possible margin space which is excellent….

Naahh.....the price difference is heavy.....its base model is expected to be starting from 20 lakhs, pre gen Inova top model was 26.5 lakhs....this car is def going to cross 30 lakhs....at this price getting a xuv700 or mg hector are better value for money cars. But that's just my opinion....others can disagree with me

Wouldn't change it for any car in the world but since it was powered by a diesel engine times called for an enforced change and hence settled for the 3rd gen Innova Hycross and booked the same on the day of tha launch.. There've been countless reviews but none as descriptive as your review which has highlighted the pro's which are well documented but also the cons which are not covered at such depth.. Having heard your every word I really feel, perhaps I was a bit too naive to have booked the Innova for all it's not so fancy parts/offerings.. Thanks for such a detailed review!! No vehicle in this segment can replace innova crysta. It was absolutely a BEAST with a diesel powertrain, body on frame chasis and RWD !!!
