- Namaste, I drove the new Innova HyCross Hybrid from Toyota Bharat for more than 2000 km and here is what I think about it.

To unlock all the doors, You can change the settings in the infotainment system. you can also change the volume of the sound it makes when you lock and unlock.

Having ventilation seats in the back would definitely increase the sales by a lot. I would pay an extra lakh if it was an option
You can get it fitted as accessory from outside for much cheaper
They are not that expensive as aftermarket modification

Thanks @Gagan for the Excellent video from your side as always. I own an Innova HYBRID Hycross VX since last 2 months. Long Journeys in this car have been truly mesmerizing. This is by far the most comfortable 7 seater in Indian market till 40 lakhs on the road. I have driven this car in all possible areas and this machine is a powerful monster. This Hybrid tech is revolutionary. I am getting ample power + a fuel efficiency of 18.6 kmpl on Highway & 20 kmpl in local.
I can proudly say that I made the right decision by rejecting SAFARI and XUV 700 for this true 7-seater from TOYOTA. Toyota has done a wonderful job in giving us comfort (its really a silent car with sofa like seats), power with Chilling AC and fantastic fuel efficiency in 1 vehicle. Such combo is never seen till date in any car so far. Truly a WINNER on cards !
how much was the waiting period? does it have basic driving assistance features in VX or VX (O)?
@@riteshsinghiiita I booked on first day itself 25 Nov 2022 and Got delivery on 1 March. Yes VX has 360 degree cam and rear and front parking sensors which assist the driver in a big way to maneuver this huge vehicle.
r u sure about economy as gagan told only 13-14 on highway and 16 in city.

@Gagan: It is good to see that you are extensive;y covering the safety aspects of vehicles, especially the tensile strenmgth of chassis factor. Please do keep setting a higher bar when discussing safety features.
Request: ADAS and autonomous car sensors and behaviour needs more coverage as more and more models are coming up with these features and it is evident that next 5 years will see these functions explode to ADAS level 3>4 and many more autonomous software and hardware integrations.

For Comfort, mileage and city use buy hycross. If traveling is frequently on highways and hilly areas then go with crysta diesel.

This engine seems quite fuel efficient, Just a saw a mileage test video of the non-hybrid variant it delivered 11kmpl in good amount of city traffic. Which means on the highway it will easily give 15kmpl, which is a steal for a car of this size. No point in going for the hybrid variant if highway is what you will be running on mostly

Toyota sales person in Hyderabad showroom told me that mileage of hybrid is just 2km more than petrol only version. Also Hybrid engine has additional service cost of 2000 per service for checking battery. So was suggesting that its better to go for non hybrid version than hybrid

Toyota is the king of engines. In canada people are in line to buy toyota and there is 2 year waiting periods. Do not look for the amenities in Toyota, you won’t get it, if you are looking for the best engines - Toyota it is.

Hi, Please provide your valuable input on this:
The car is climbing a steep slope and had to stop midway of the slope for some reason. When we start to climb again from that position, the torque from the motor may not be sufficient to move the car. Then the engine will kick-in. But the engine needs to reach certain rpm to produce enough torque to assist the motor. The question is, does it take some time to produce the combined torque and start moving while climbing.
Torque from motor is instant and higher than that of engine

I am hycross vx hybrid owner. Real life milage is 16 kmpl max, that too on economy mode driven with a very soft foot and only driver no passenger.

I am looking to buy Toyota Hyryder hybrid but the biggest question arising for me is about the engine. Like I have searched everywhere to know if the engine used in hyryder hybrid is of toyota or Suzuki as we know grand vitara also comes in the same patent. For us toyota means high engine reliability, if you know about anything regarding the query I would be thankful to you.
While Suzuki is equally good with engine, The Hybrid Hyryder and Grand Vitara uses a Toyota engine.

Driven this car almost 3.5k kms now, Mileage in city traffic on average is almost 19-20 & on highways it varies from 15 to 18 depending on how aggressively you press the accelerator.
Would you recommend this for someone looking for proper boot space plus third row?
