The GS rant is so real. Even on modern WOTLK private servers, people still wear less than optimal gear for their spec, just to get the number higher and cheese through incompetent raid leaders who don't inspect them. And some donors have a bigger wallet than brain, cause my favorite memory was this 6.7KGS ret pally with full Lightsworn and Shadowmourne...but used seal of Wisdom the whole time. Another fail I see, is people who treat PVE like PVP and use Seal of Righteousness on trash pulls. It's like they don't even bother to read the seal's description, even at level 80!
While I agree that agi should never be gemmed for, it is a great stat for paladins. This is why you get agi items for BiS slots. Agi gives more critical chance than crit rating.

Very informative stuff. For a long time I almost had not played pally and been confused how to dps on ret pally. The main thing is i did not saw how the Seals being released... kinda im doing SoV and then casting any judgement and i see only damamge from that judgement and increased number some stacks of SoV on target... same as SoC ... using judgement doesn't seem to make SoC to be released like its being said in judgement spells description... like DK landing dots on target and then releasing em doing Obliterate, i can see it and can feel in damage... but on pally -.- duh. I guess i just need to play a bit more on that class to get used to it... thank you for that video. Btw lots of people from Molten restored their accs on Warmane (restoration closed long time ago) Also this is aint bad pserv with good online. I'm also moved there after molten death.

Last week, i saw a unholy dk, with a heal belt, just for more Gearscore. (BOE from Icc). Thats just sad, that Gearscore matters so much. At the end, good knowledge about the own class, makes good dmg.

Yeah, DV is better on molten because of bugs. STS is still a great trinket though. I use it because it was BIS on retail and I want my raiding experience to be as retail like as possible (just not all the leveling and grinding of retail).

Hello I have a question, Ik it is late but why is twilight scale a good trinket on paladins? It gives armor pen which do not benefits paladins, wouldn't it be better to go for a wispering fanged skull hc? It gives almost the same attack power and instead of arp it gives crits!

In post 3.3.5 that might be true (I don't remember), but in 3.3.5 you gain the spell "Toughness" which increases stamina. Not too bad for tanking, but not good for increasing DPS.
It's because of itemization. There are some leather or mail items (mostly leather) that are better than the strength plate equivalents. You can do great dps with Str gear, but some agi items will outshine them.
Gs was incredibly toxic back during wotlk as well. I loved wrath so much and that's probably my best memories of wow but God gs almost made me hate that expansion
chao in ur 1 of the twitch u said that DBW is not good trink for pala but when is activated we gain 700 strength for 30 sec and strenght is a primary stat for pala why do u think DBW not a good trink for pala ?
Oathbinder is better for pure dps output in pve, but since gloren is better in pvp, if u gonna do both I would recommend gloren (unless u can afford smorune ofc!).
Sharpened Twilight scape is absolute shit on paladins. Anything with ARP on it is wasted stats when you could get more crit or flat AP from Death's Verdict or Whispering Fanged Skull
You can always try changing ur trinkets and do a dps test on a dummy or smth, however, as long as you do it right, you will come to the conclusion that every other min-max ret has came to. That sharpned and tiny is the best choices for pve dps. PvP is another story tho..

@@ItachiUchiha-lg4vj Well get all the ICC and TOC crafted gear. Chest, bracer, legs, feet. Ulduar has belt too. ICC trash drops are basically just neck and ring. You can get epic crafted ring, shoulder (LW), helm (BS), back (LW) and trinket (insc) Then you just need to do a bit of FOS/POS get a 2h , a glove, libram, and trinket from either drops or badges. EZPZ. You could get that from the AH if you had enough gold and be ready to raid in like 1 hour from fresh 80.

Well there are a few nice polearms in ICC that would be great. The one that drops from LK 25 H is actually 2nd BIS to Shadowmourne.
