Good way to avoid the lower level normal dungeons is to que specific for the 77 level plus dungeons they drop 187 gear items and farming those get you ready for heroic rdf.
No, it doesn't get you ready for heroic. I've farmed all good items from these dungeons for Rogue and also bought Ring of rotting sinew(iLevel 267). I still can't queue for FoS, PoS and any heroic at 2.75k gs. I don't have thrown weapons and am missing 2 trinkets, probably that's causing the issue but idk.
How to gear in almost any WOTLK server Example Warmane: 1->Get to 80 2->Get ICC Rep Farm Ring 3->Either go do normal dungeons untill you find groups for FOS POS farming or Do all the reputation quest that give your BIS enchants and then go FOS POS 4->You will be doing FOS POS up to 4k gs i think then you start doing HC Dungeons and HC FOS POS up to 5k gs 5-> to get 5k gs you might need to buy the Badge set and items infront of Trial of the Crusade 6-> Try to get Trial of the Champion trinkets as soon as you have enough gear to do it properly 7->Once you are 5k GS you go do TOC / VOA and people will accept you easy :) 8->Try finding ICC Pug Groups to get some Decent gear so you are accepted in better ICC groups 9-> Don't forget to learn the tactics for every boss in VOA / TOC / ICC before you go raid because its a really high chance to get kicked if u mess up the tactic for the boss fight

Yes assuming you can queue heroics. The crafting helps boost gs for raids on top of getting you eligible for rdf heroics. You do not get marks for rdf nm nor gear sufficient to make you ready for heroics. Alternately though you can grind out FOS and POS nm for 232 gear to help get ready

I mainly do rdf but in the future wanna do some pvp (that's why I got engineering), but my guild master told me to change it for herbalism/jewelcrafting for money and rocks from mining. What do you think about that? What's the most important, money or gear?
Engi + JWC is best pve profesion also pvp ones, alternative for JWC is tailoring if u have jwc on one char already but for maximized dps always go for JWC

As for how long you should run them, having an atlas loot should allow you to see what gear drops for your character depending on class and spec. You should run them until you no longer can benefit from the gear that drops. For me personally I tend to head to ICC before getting everything from fos/pos hc. Start fos/pos hcs around 3.5k gs

When using pvp gear for pve content many people won't take you raiding with them, pve gear to pvp gear is easier, just remember that ultimately if you want to be competitive in arenas you will need pvp gear, but if you want to have a good time in battlegrounds then high end pve gear works all right. If you want to do both pvp and pve content, the best way is to start gearing pve and then once you have good pve gear start grinding honor from bgs and wg and pick up pvp gear that way. Gearing pvp first is a bad idea

toc 10 is 4.5k gs min. ppl on warmane ask for 5.5-6k for toc 10 lol.
best tip from me would be do the battered hilt quest asap.

Bruh any professions that make gold is good to go, you'll be able to buy some expensive BoEs in AH
