    For anyone wishing to add the preset and have it show up in the newer Adobe version of Substance, the path is now C:\Users\USER\Documents\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter\assets\export-presets

    It's wild how difficult and convoluted this is, just to get textures in substance, you guys really need to streamline your pipeline

    This plug-in is half way done. It can be call exporter to SSP when reattaching whole sets of textures is no longer necessary.

    Can you update this preset for the latest version of Substance Painter please?
    Also is there a way to automatically connect all the textures when I import the model in Substance Painter, its taking forever to draging and dropping one by one manually

    For those asking about the textures, they have to be imported manually. It's actually easy to bulk import. :)
    When importing the texture, go to the root folder where all of the subfolders are located. In the file explorer window, just type ".png OR .jpg OR .tga" in the search bar. (Add additional types if you need them.) Then all should show up for you to grab all at once.

    Unless I am missing something 2022 Substance Painter it doesn't recognize the custom UDIM naming scheme, the UDIM number should be last of the string not in the middle. If I manually rename ALL the files to have _1001.png in the behind of the string, SP correctly imports them.
    Any fix for this in horizon?

    Why don't u change the naming convention of the texures so they are automatically recognized by substance as UDIM tiles?...

    I don’t understand why you would bake normal maps for the skin uv sets when you already have a normal map imported from cc3? I mean if you are not adding and detail on top of the skin texture itself then why do it? I mean what high poly is it baking from? The existing normal you imported already has the high poly detail. I’m confused.

    Please change the way you export the textures from Material_UDIM_TextureType to Maerial_TextureType_UDIM So that substance can automatically load the textures as sets

      It's pretty straight forward in my opinion
      check export for blender
      done
      Materials are all up and working
      only thing you have to do is manually add subsurface scattering to the materials

    or you could export just the dress in a new folder and click/drag > update it manually in CC3

    Does anyone know where to install the character creator 3 plug-in into the Substance Painter file path of the newest version of Substance Painter? The image document shows a folder titled "Shelf" but I don't see any such folder!

      place it here -> userprofile\Documents\Adobe\Adobe Substance 3D Painter\assets\export-presets
      and it will appear among the export presets

    Jeez well that was simple I'm so glad I only have to press a button, it could be worse I might get an error message to say I have to re-name all of my materials I suppose.

    Didn't imported any texture at all. only imported obj mesh.. "shelf(your asset)" is empty :/
    Any help??

    Why set the document resolution specifically to 2048? it shouldn't affect compatibility should it? We should be able to see the resolution the final work will be exported.

    What versions of CC are Compatible with the Preset for Substance Painter. I installed the preset but the export for substance painter option does not appear. Only FBX and OBJ..thank

    I had Bought Substance 2017 from Reallusion so I would like it to work in 2017 as I will not Update to 2020. And I have always bought everything related to CC3 Headshot and SkinGen as well. So Please make it work for Substance 2017 as it was the one that was bought from Reallusion.

      UDIM tiles Multichannel paint across seamless is a new feature in Substance Painter 2020

      But aren't the upgrades free? You can just update your substance to the latest version to make use of the latest features. And did you mean you purchased the cc3 substance plugin from reallusion store?

      @@akshayanandk5534 No, you can change to subscription or buy from Steam now . In the meantime is Adobe the SP Owner. On the RL store it was a commission sell in collaboration with Allegorithmic.
      Btw. in those days was CC not born yet.

    A quel heure était le train ???????? c'était le tgv je crois mais j'avoue que je l'ai manqué .Je sais très bien que l'anglais est un langage international mais vous pourriez tout de meme essayer d'imaginer que bon nombre ne le maitrise pas entièrement et avoir un minimum de dicernement pour aller un peu moins vite car assurément après 10 secondes on passe à autre chose.

    Unfortunately, you are missing some very important points. And nothing works out. How , for example, did the text maps end up in the program substanse? And without this, nothing is clear and it is impossible to move on. How to drag textures to substanse? is it a big secret? a terrible lesson. Nothing is clear. You click very quickly, it's unclear where and why. Bad teacher, very/ how to get transparency on the eyelashes. I looked at it 10 times.yu could not figure out how to draw on all the cards, too, it is unclear. Is it really impossible to explain normally?

      create fill layer and import textures and then drag the textures to the corresponding layer

    WOW This is really bad. I am so glad I only got the trial. Honestly this is just not production ready software!
