With the new Pose Tools plug-in for Zbrush alongside the Pose Link plug-in for Character Creator 4, Zbrush artists now have a more optimized workflow option for bringing character models into ZBrush and posing them using fully-functional HIK bone structure courtesy of AccuRIG. In this tutorial, you’ll learn about this workflow and how you can utilize the massive motion library and motion tools to customize your character’s poses in Zbrush.

*00:42 The (total) lowest subdivision level of ZBrush model should be less than 300K quad, or 600K triangle in order to make it work for AccuRIG.
*02:09 The original character sent from ZBrush has the pivot on the center, so you will see it's mid-way on the floor, you don't need to move it up now, because once getting into the AccuRIG mode, the character will be moved up to stand on the ground automatically.

    Some things that helped me:
'Go into Accurig mode' Pls explain that lol. I found you have to import the model as a prop, not a character, then you'll find the accurig option.
Turning on wireframe on shaded seems to make it crash.
Sometimes the finger bone markers get a bit messed up. Hit F3 or click the Bone List button (top right) to open a tab where you can see which marker corresponds with which bone.

I'm having an issue where my teeth, claws and hooves on my character will not transfer back to ZBrush in the pose I created in CC4. What am I doing wrong??

Sending a pose to Zbrush doesn't seem to work, the script just bugs out, says that the target mesh topology has changed ( it has not ), then there is an error message and that's it. Trying to send another pose after that doesn't work at all, nothing happens.
I started the process over, and this time there was no error message, but the pose wasn't transfered. The pose and layers were created in Zbrush, but the character didn't move.
I started over again and this time, the eyes, teeth and a strap from the outfit moved into position, then the script stopped. The rest of the character didn't move.
Every time I try to relink the CC character to the Zbrush character, it creates new meshes ( without subdvisions nor polypaint ) instead of relinking to the existing ones.
Seems like this stuff only works in tutorials.

Could it be a bug with the trial version ? Maybe the window popup saying that there are only X uses remaining everytime we try to send a pose to Zbrush makes the script bug out ? I've been trying for HOURS, following the tutorial to the letter, and it just doesn't work.
I wanted to buy it, but not in this state.

After testing the official version is good, one thing to note is that you need to send a Tpose first then set it to Tpose in zbrush and then transmit the pose from CC4 you want.

@@yujoe5338 I tried to send the T-pose and A-pose too, the model doesn't move. There is something happening, the script goes over every subtool several times, creates the poses and the layers, but the model doesn't actually move.
So I tried something else : sending all the subtools to T-pose master first, then to CC4 to have everything merged in one mesh. I posed this in CC4, sent it back to T-pose master, and transferred the pose to the subtools and it works.
But when there are several subtools the script just bugs out.

      @reallusion  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi @baryafe,
You can find the ""Pose Editing"" panel in the ""Motion Pose"" tab in Character Creator.
To access the ""Pose Editing"" panel, navigate to the ""Motion Pose"" tab in Character Creator and click on ""Modify panel > Motion Pose tab > Edit Pose"".
If you are referring to the ZBrush Pose Tools plugin, please go to the ""Zplugin"" menu, where you can find the ""Zbrush Pose Tools"" tab.

Choose a pose from the subfolder with the little stick person that looks like its running. then edit that pose in the program? It's all in there.
