We found that placing the forefinger of the hand as close to the rear point of the ball always helps to keep the nose of the ball forward and toward the target. At 02:37, see where Rodgers placed the forefinger.
True, but I also think it just depends on how all of the variables line up. Different release angles, wrist positions, & timing all can impact what the most optimal grip is for any individual qb, but index finger towards the point is typically great advice 👍

Thickest Chicago accent you’ve ever heard, my friends and I still greet each other in his voice when we see each other even decades apart. Great video, trying to learn right for once to teach my kid ;).
I find for me the main times I don’t get a spiral is because the ball comes off my fingers bad, usually due to bad grip. A good way to get a good spiral is play with wet or cold hands which forces you to pay close attention to your grip and how the ball is leaving your hand.
I've been doing boxing workouts for my wrist/grip strength & it has been helping me a lot. I recommend searching up hand/wrist movements to do using a bucket full of rice as the resistance 🙌

Ok so let me get this straight. It’s harder to throw a good spiral on deep passes? but for some reason I always throw a spiral 95% of the time when I throw it deep, but when I throw it medium or short I throw it in a spiral like 60% of the time? Wow ok looks like imma focus on throwing it deep then 😭😭😭 (Good video btw)

Keeping a loose grip on the ball really helped me. Went from wobbling all through the air to decent spirals.
