- How to make your own large custom music recording studio desk with equipment gear racks or digital photo & video editor workstation setup similar to the " Output Platform ". Perfect for content creators that work with multimedia & need a lot of extra table & storage space.
I have since cut out the middle riser to lower the hight of my desktop screen, and create the perfect ergonomic setup for content creation.
At the time of building this, the materials cost me only $120.

Looks good! The other option in that sort of space is to attach the desktop directly to the wall, just have three cleats/brackets along the sides and back, wouldn't need the legs at all. Obviously, if you're renting you might not be able to.

Nice! I’ve been teaching myself woodworking over the past few years and although I’ve always bought my studio desks I figured I’d take a shot at building my own, especially considering how much they cost.
I’m planning on doing a version of what you’ve done with the output style desk, but I’m going to use the legs from my sit sand. Also rather than plain maple, I think I’m going to stain it and do one of those half wood/half resin desks. I’ll most likely need some slightly thicker wood thought. Going to start off by making a side rack mount table…

Excellent but should have avoided that glue on the modesty panel in my opinion as it makes it a lot harder to dismantle.
