K97 radio here in Edmonton used to play their album tracks "Carrying The Stick" and "Dance" during 1981 and 1982. Bands like this should be honoured in the Canadian music hall of fame!
I can't believe they're from Regina! Everyone's always talking about how Streetheart is the only good band to come out of Saskatchewan, but these guys are fucking awesome! I'm glad I'm from Regina.
they were on local tv, show was "ROCKLINE" with Terry David Mulligan. was on late Friday (i think) on CKND here in Winnipeg. Now why the $#%& can I remember that and not where i put my keys?
They are great! I used to roller skate to them in Regina. At the Great Skate South. One year for Halloween. One of the staff of the great Skate dressed up as the girl on the cover. Very nice is all I have to say!!!
I wore the crap out of this album when it came out. I had the first generation sony walkman. I remember listening to this tune trucking down the main drag or Yellow Knife NT. such awesome memories :)
Jammed with the awesome Guitar God, Kevin Finn, and if you remember, QCK opened for Ozzy with Guitar God Randy Rhoads....Down again is such an awesome tune...the solo reminds me of Bark at the Moon riff solo, wonder if Ozzy and Jake E Lee were listening to QCK....hmmmn
remember they used to be called "Cambridge queen city kids" ? they used to appear at the st. vital hotel here in Winnipeg *on television with host jim milligan* (or millikan...something like that) I used to think they were from Winnipeg...good stuff anyways.
