There is Another band called Urgent from the USA!! released 2 albums, they too never got big but the albums are really good!! Thinking out loud and cast the first stone were the albums!! 1986 and 1987 were the release years! I do have this album too thinking it was them however its not.
Doug passed away? Back in the 70's I was a soundman in a band Doug was in called Bayb, and always wondered why he never got huge. Please tell me how and when he passed,

I had this on cassette and as all tape goes it was shot quickly. I managed to find a CD out of Germany to replace it. One of my favorites from the era. I played so many of the songs at parties back then. Hard to pick a favorite on such a strong collection of songs.
Last time I heard that song was probably around 1988 or so... I know at one point it was playing while my dad was wahing his car! I remember the chorus.
I was very surprised with this album when i bought it many years ago as the Long Island Rock Classic Series reissue. Great songwriting and a great singer, with a better production could have been an even better album. A shame that is the one and only album relased by them.
The story I hear from a band member (no names ) is that once they had recorded the album CBC records sent them on a tour ! ! When they got back the album was already mixed !!! Nothing like the way it was recorded !! Totally fucked over !!!And YES Doug Baynham had a voice of an angel !!! Enjoy it !!!

Sometimes they sound like Scorpions, great band.
Didn't listen much to Scorpions yet, but that vocals somehow reminded me of Tony Martin (Black Sabbath) and David Readman(Pink Cream 69)
