PRO TIP: 2:55 - Never (NEVER) sell that varsity jacket to the public, like me. It'll go too well with my Walt Disney World 20th Anniversary jacket and Warner Brothers 50th Anniversary jacket, so please keep that gem to yourself and your deserving employees. I beg you. 😲💓🤣
I worked for LAFD for 25 years and we had Heavy Utility 56, a 1995 Rotator. Jamie Davis from Highway to Hell bought it a few years back. It now sees service on “ The Coq” in British Columbia. BTW, you guys do great work in a safe and efficient manner, keep it up!!!
Pepe's, it's hard to believe anyone walked away from that tractor! What an incredible mess! As usual the Pepe's team did an excellent job! Congrats all around! Great video!
Actually it is rare that a driver will be killed, the engine is built to go under the truck instead of directly into the cab, this helps to protect the driver, there are a lot of safety features built in to the truck to protect the driver. Retired 28 yrs accident free. Never had to test the safety features. Do the speed limit, use following distance and always pay attention.
@@lada3264 Look at this video and thousands of others. Heavy truck engines rarely come loose in an accident and if they do, it's rare that they move rearward. Engine has always been placed low between frame rails and cab has always been placed above the frame rails. It's the same regardless of brand. Volvo likes to say it's their safety design, but it's the same design for every brand, and it's always been that way. That configuration was not designed with safety in mind. It was just the most obvious way to design the truck 100 years ago, then Volvo started trying to say it was a safety design 😂.
Another great job by you and your team 💪💪💪. Seems to be just to many drivers that just don't understand about spending and distracted driving or they just don't care 😠😠😠.
The tree guy can’t come after you cause the driver took it out first lol. Great job to all 3 of you. Towing definitely doesn’t look easy you guys just make it look easy. Stay safe out there
You guys all amazed me you'll do such beautiful work never a dull moment all ways wonderful work love it says hello to Papi chulo 💙 JOE 🌹he is so awesome 💯🌹💙 by the way nice hair doo Chuckie
Regarding "inattentive" drivers and flashing lights on emergency/construction vehicles... We had a guy here in ATL drive straight into the back of a HERO (emergency roadside assistance) truck. A HERO truck is built on a massive utility truck frame with enough flashing yellow lights to land an airplane. It was parked on the shoulder. Guy hit it at 60mph and claimed afterwards he never saw it.
Great Work Guys.... Wow I miss that interchange .... Lived in Bellflower and driving to Moms in HH for years . Granny lived in Jim town. Grandma lived off Whittier Blvd near Pio pico ranch. Many relatives at Rose Hills. Worked off the Durfee exit for a number of years. Now In the middle of Oregon 11 hours away. Got a picture of the Oscar Meyers wiener mobile going through that intersection. back in 04. I always wondered what happened to Haddicks tow service. They had all the sheriff calls back in the day.
Dang he wearing a dope custom Pepe's leather varsity jacket even while working on a nasty wreck ! 👍 looking good on the job ...along with every piece of equipment & trucks
Just wondering how in total dollars how much would the trucking company be liable for this accident, not just your job but caltrans cleanup, repairs to highway
I know modern vehicles are designed to take the impact energy from a crash. The takeaway is that it makes crashes look horrible. I'm glad the driver made it. The design of the truck did its job. Excellent job on this one.
No trees were harmed during the filming of this video. Only hedges and chain link fences. Jeffrey is still guarding Big Flipper, so all is well. Great recovery guys. Stay safe !!
hi there. i would nickname that truck that winched the burnt chassie to " bulldog " because it have all the thing a bulldog has. maybe it is a stupied nickname but that is what i would nickname it to hehe. have a great day!
There's Absolutely no excuse for this imho. Too many "modern day truck drivers" going for the per load pay... speed kills .. Distracted driving Kills...
There are several videos here on YT describing new semi drivers... Well, no need to get into any details. Thank you Pepe's Towing Service for posting these excellent video!
You would figure, right? I've shown up to fatal scenes and I think "really? This was a fatal?" and then show up to crazy horrible scenes like this and the drivers are next to the truck watching me work. Life is unpredictable.
Hamner Towing out of Corona my last CTTA class was over there I guess they have an account with them construction guys to be driving all the way over to that side of town bet the driver wasn't expecting this
I had an accident Arizona Cordes Junction, 17 Mile downhill 2000 ft. 10 wheel long base dump truck, accident ahead with no notice, how about a half a mile of traffic stopped in the middle of the highway, didn't kill nobody, thank God watching over me.
Some of these semi drivers never learn!!! Dont they ever think of there families or loved one's and getting home safe. This maybe the best time of year to think about it, not coming home and a empty chair at the table? Of course not as there will be many empty chairs. Why? Because of being a complete sausage on the road. 😥😥
One: The driver definitely had an angle sitting on his shoulder this time. He had better be saying his prayers after this. Two: As a retired driver with over twenty years+ experience, and with some screw-ups of y own, I wonder what the hiring standard are these days?/ This was just plain stupid. 'Axe
@ I guess that means the fire burned itself out before that bush that appeared to be almost touching could catch fire? I get it, it just looked kind of off somehow. The tractor was completely fried yet that bush was fine. Thanks.
In a situation like this how responsible are you for maintaining the integrity of the parts for the purposes of law enforcement investigation. Can you just pick it all up and throw it in a dumpster for later disposal? I have seen piles of debris like this at copart on a tarp and wondered how many times it needed to be handled .
0. They aren't spending a dime to investigate after. The only time that happens is a fatal or something they hold as evidence, in which case we'd know prior to even showing up. This is just a plain ol regular accident just on a large scale

I watch highway thru hell all the time. I’m a Canadian its my favorite.
Alex is like the spiderman when he climbs up a container from the rear doors. Love it.
🕷🕸
Pepe's, it's hard to believe anyone walked away from that tractor! What an incredible mess! As usual the Pepe's team did an excellent job! Congrats all around! Great video!
A miracle she walked away! What a mess, for a recovery. In school, they make it obvious, few truckers survive large collisions.

What a mess of truck parts and pieces to clean up and haul away. You guys do good work together. Thanks for the video.
❤❤❤❤ wow that drone showed a lot, nice 👌 great job guys.
What a freaking mess!!! Stay safe out there, guys!!!
Another great job by you and your team 💪💪💪. Seems to be just to many drivers that just don't understand about spending and distracted driving or they just don't care 😠😠😠.
Oh come on. The guy fell asleep.
Love watching your videos. You cover it so well. You all do great work.
Another Awesome video . Thanks for the ride along. God Bless Brothers
ALEX and JOSH Your doing a very good job and even the way came up with ideas fast. I LOVE THIS CHANNEL
It's great to see a team that knows what they're doing. What a mess.
In Phoenix AZ we are seeing same kind of wrecks eyes shut and 90 MPH .thanks for the 👀 on this !
Great video. Always informative on how the job is undertaken. Well done Team Pepe's.
You guys always get to work in the messiest conditions. Great video, I like the annotations you add! You guys are fun!
The tree guy can’t come after you cause the driver took it out first lol. Great job to all 3 of you. Towing definitely doesn’t look easy you guys just make it look easy. Stay safe out there
Brilliant video guys, definitely Discovery channel show 👏👏👏👏
Discovery channel can’t complete
Excellent production values!
Awesome video Josh , Alex and Castro . I like how quickly you form a plan how to clear the scene
Alex Josh and Castro great video! Thanks for sharing! Kevin
Need to make some sort of camera mount for Supervisor Chucky.
Maybe we should start calling Alex, Spider-Man, for the way he climbs up the back of those containers?
I thought the same when he easily climbed the container.
You guys all amazed me you'll do such beautiful work never a dull moment all ways wonderful work love it says hello to Papi chulo 💙 JOE 🌹he is so awesome 💯🌹💙 by the way nice hair doo Chuckie

Nice work. That was quite a mess. Pepe's runs like a well-oiled machine.
Nice job cleaning up a big mess. You guys do a great job calmly assessing the situation and executing your plan!
Tis the season🥂..
You'll be busier than normal...
Surprised he walked away.
Surprised the contents didn't burn too.
Stay Safe out there.
*she. Driver was actually a woman
Another excellent video! Love seeing the 9055 in action, and that Peterbilt tractor is beautiful!

Great Recovery Team Peppe, we missed the Beast (Jojo) NICE!!!!!
Watching from Calgary, Canada
Two very lucky driver to survive that mess. Good job getting it all cleared up.
Watching from Montana ! 👍
You've been Pepetized!
Nice job Castro! Alex and Josh too.
I would like to know how the driver is, i figured she stayed in the hospital for a bit. You guys rock, very efficient and good humor. ❤😊🎉
Dang he wearing a dope custom Pepe's leather varsity jacket even while working on a nasty wreck ! 👍 looking good on the job ...along with every piece of equipment & trucks
VERY cool video, VERY cool drone shots!! Another job very well done. Stay safe out there my friends!!
That tree guy is a joke that keeps on giving, even after all theses years.
“whattt.. no wayyyyy for fks sake” 😂😂😂
Josh, that’s a badass Pepe’s varsity jacket and you all up in that burnt tractor with it. 😁👌
he never wears a jacket, but when he does, he goes all out. 😆👌
One of the best video’s ive watched yet!!
That "first person shooter" camera is awesome, Alex.
Just wondering how in total dollars how much would the trucking company be liable for this accident, not just your job but caltrans cleanup, repairs to highway
Great question and I have no clue. I would assume minimum several tens of thousands of dollars
Had me thinking it snowed in SoCal. Until I seen Josh dirty up his new boots. That must’ve been a long night.
Alex and Josh great work together

Very nice job guys
Keep up good work
You guys rock! I love this channel!
I don’t trust any truck pulling a container. Good job you guys did I stay away from those drivers haven’t seen a good one
hi there.

There's Absolutely no excuse for this imho. Too many "modern day truck drivers" going for the per load pay... speed kills ..
Distracted driving Kills...
Yep. Too many blivs can't stop tappy-tapping on their silly little phones long enough to drive.
There are several videos here on YT describing new semi drivers... Well, no need to get into any details. Thank you Pepe's Towing Service for posting these excellent video!
New sub here content is incredible you guys are beast thanks for the crazy job you guys do keep it up and keep safe .
Some of that fire foam is cancer causing, take care.
Yep, and so is cutting through the chain link fence - galvanized, probably with zinc.
BROOOOO...My mom told me the PS5 she got me for Christmas was in that trailer!
LoL
Wow what a mess See professor on duty hello TV Josh and a shout out to Castro be safe hey alex my wife wants a jacket like you
At first glance it looked like Santa crashed into the Christmas tree.
Guys, yall could probably get a bargin on a 'fire-sale'couch...especially those in the front!🤣🤣
Angel, that is!
Another great video!!
Poor truck.😢😢😢
Hard to believe it was a container. I guess hodgey was driving it
That’s awful. You’re gonna have a hard time getting this semi truck ❤whatever’s left of it.
Was actually quite easy lol
Yeah, you had a good time doing it too y’all cutting out
Alex you need diablo carbide reciprocating saw blades. They last a long time don't nedd to worry about a blade going dull on the job
Brunt: please send boots to Alex !!
Must’ve been a Hot load of Freight
When you see a wreck like this, I always assume it's a fatal. So amazing drivers escape with scratches and a real big headache 😂.
Cars and trucks burn to a crisp way more often than people realize. 180,000 vehicle fires a year on average. Often look like that at the end.
He was a fast runner.
You would figure, right? I've shown up to fatal scenes and I think "really? This was a fatal?" and then show up to crazy horrible scenes like this and the drivers are next to the truck watching me work. Life is unpredictable.
lol is that chunky hanging on the back of the wrecker. What’s the story on that. So funny love it.
Was the Caltrans worker hurt
Your channel is like a ray of light in the TH-cam world. Keep inspiring us with your videos!🛼🔶🤖
DAAANG!!... What brand of flashlight 🔦 do you use when your working?
How did that light pole make it wow!!
Wow. Aren’t there lots of hazardous compounds from the burning wreck?
Pepe's perfection as always.
Dang!.. was wondering why the road was closed when I left work.
saludos amigo desde Virginia
The roadcrew traffic arrow truck never even had the chance to deploy the crash barrier on the rear
Hamner Towing out of Corona my last CTTA class was over there I guess they have an account with them construction guys to be driving all the way over to that side of town bet the driver wasn't expecting this
I do hope that the firefighting foam that was used was fluorine-free and not the highly toxic foam containing persistent PFAS.
I had an accident Arizona Cordes Junction, 17 Mile downhill 2000 ft. 10 wheel long base dump truck, accident ahead with no notice, how about a half a mile of traffic stopped in the middle of the highway, didn't kill nobody, thank God watching over me.
lol, put that face of Josh on a tee shirt!
Shit I just checked out the Hamner Towing truck and they are from Corona😳. That’s a long way to go for a tow job. Must be hungry.
So sad. It’s good to know it was not fatal. Why was he speeding? 😔 Nothing is worth all that damage and risking lives.
I wonder if they're gonna sell those couches cheap - like in a fire sale.
Jeffery?
chucky

It’s snowing in California?
Flip flop mafia at it again
Ya think they will total that tractor?
Fixable
How does a truck burn up yet not burn bushes around it?
Heat rises.
@@tedmoss Yes but it spreads out sideways too, and any wind can blow it.
Burns hot and fast.
@ I guess that means the fire burned itself out before that bush that appeared to be almost touching could catch fire? I get it, it just looked kind of off somehow. The tractor was completely fried yet that bush was fine. Thanks.
Toasty ,mmmmm good ! like a giant Quiznos sub 🔥

Towing And Recovery. Yeah I know... 😊
This is kind of random but you should totally make Pepe the frog part of the tow company logo. 🤔😅
