- San Francisco now has more legal authority to clear away homeless encampments after the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday threw out part of a court order limiting when and how the city could cite people for sleeping on the streets.

The reason they refuse to live in a shelter is because alcohol/drugs are prohibited.
ICAM. Most IMHO are drug addicts.
Alcohol and drugs are prohibited in jails too. So eventually they'll have to make a very basic decision. If they can't make up their minds, then the city should legal have the right to send them to jail. If they really hate jail, then they just have to buckle up and clean up their own lives.
If they don't know which is worse, jail or shelters, then they definitely deserve jail.
And they don't want to commit to sobriety rehabilitation,

@@HypocritesExposd Private businesses don't allow homeless to use the bathrooms because they go in there and lock the door, they pass out while they are doing drugs, or use the bathroom for a druggy washing, leaving a complete mess for the business to clean up, and their drug and alcohol use make them have diarrhea everywhere. It's the same with city-sponsored public toilets. And, most of the drugged up homeless aren't looking for toilets when they have diarrhea, so they just do it all over, like on the bus, or the bus bench.

Also, yes lots of homeless are druggies, but some are not and legitimately need to use a bathroom, hence the pee and poop you randomly see around city streets. They’re human after all and humans need to go #1 and #2.
There are hardly any stores or banks left in many prominent SF districts, tech businesses are leaving on droves, crime is rampant, and there are still 15,000 homeless on the streets - Corruption at its finest.!

Every report on homelessness in SF should include the amount of money they spend to solve the problem - $700M annually, last time I checked. Hard to imagine these problems are still going on. What an opportunity for REAL investigative journalists - to uncover where the money goes and why it isn't fixing the problem.

9th circuit are the ones that got it wrong. I applaud the SCOTUS. Finally we are no longer burdened with the 9th circuit’s absolutly stupid interpretation of what constitutes cruel and unusual punishment.
I think it was a judge in Boise ID who started this, didn’t expect this from Idaho 😂
