Mapa in this song has doble meaning: 1st "Mapa" in english is "Map" a guide that is being used to locate location. 2nd it is an abbreviation of the Filipino term of "Mama" (which means mother/mom) and "Papa" (which means father/dad) who unconditionally love, guide and support us from birth to future that aiming for.

Then i heard Stell sang his heart out on the Disney Plus showcase. ❤ To learn that all 5 can sing is the big surprise. This group is talented alright.

Lots of Filipinos were touched by this song because so many families have relatives and loved ones who are working overseas this song just hits different for kids with parents who they didnt see growing up. For a time my father also worked as an OFW during my teens until I graduated and he only retired and came home once I found a job of my own. I wanted to work and save money so I can also let my parents enjoy their lives and not worry about money, thats why i dont want to get married quickly 😂

If you like rap music, two members of SB19 have solo project rap songs. I recommend “La Luna” by Pablo and “Bulan” by Felip, a.k.a. SB19 Ken. Both songs were released in 2022. Felip also released his own EP called Complex.
