Hori7on is a South Korea-based Filipino boy band formed in 2023. The group is composed of members Vinci Malizon, Kim Ng, Kyler Chua, Reyster Yton, Winston Pineda, Jeromy Batac, and Marcus Cabais. They're also receiving lesser backlash from knetz compared to other GPOP after their music show performance bec. their debut song is in Korean and English. It also helps that prior to their debut, they have a docu-series and variety shows showing how they're learning Korean language and culture.
If I’m not mistaken they only had about 3 months of proper “korean” training prior their debut. They won from idol competition in the Philippines called “Dream Maker” last February where one of the most prominent judges is Bae Yoon Jung (dance mentor of Produce). The title and story in every scene matches together which many people don’t realize yet. From diff colors of suits and matching outfits gives a lot of meaning. We love kdramas and kpop so koreans will also love them in return ig😂.. But kidding aside, they carry Korea and Philippines as a global pop band. It’s a huge responsibility for young small shoulders and they carried it so well! As long as the management from both countries will take care of them well they will soar high!
