    Love, love, love this! Especially Christopher and Wendy's comments from about the 10 minute mark to the end. Need a transcription of this to share!

    Hi, I would like to mention the billings ovulation method, which is based on observations of the cervical mucus patterns - and one of the wonderful aspects of it is that it teaches to positively recognise infertility - so Anna's situation, as it is, as it will develop, whatever her body decides to do next!, would be no problem. She would be taught to recognise her basic infertile pattern and the rules that allow her to see any potential fertility as and when it comes up. Then it is the couple's decision what to do with this potential fertility

    She can but LH strip’s… I’ve been using them to predict ovulation along with progesterone strips and estro strips for about 20 years in my NFP modification’s for my marriage/family. We do have 9 children, but none were “accidental”. Please look into this as they’ve allowed me to use nfp despite also having chronic irregular cycle’s. Blessing’s!

    Christopher, good night. I’m from Portugal, and me and my fiancé want to know better “Theology of the Body”and your videos would be a great add up to our knowledge. The problem is that English is not my fiancé’s forte, so I ask if you and your TH-cam Channel, could put some legends, at least in Spanish. If you could, it would be awesome. God Bless you!

    11:40 What is the basis of this? Where does it teach any of this in scripture?

    Dr. Burke is my specialist in Toronto Ohio and I'm sure he would be able to point her in the right direction to get medical help.

    Just like missing mass on Sundays you need to have a grave reason to practice NFP.

      Hello Timothy! Thank you for your honest comment. Christopher often underlines the fact that the Catechism uses the word "just" instead of "grave" in #2368. Here are some other videos about NFP that might be helpfulL

      @@TheologyoftheBodyInstitute Pope Pius XII uses the term grave: "to embrace the matrimonial state, to use continually the faculty proper to such a state and lawful only therein, and, at the same time, to avoid its primary duty without a grave reason, would be a sin against the very nature of married life"

    Positive proof that NFP will make one psychotic.

      @Mthf I have a motto: If it causes my family harm, it is not of God.

    • @Catholic-Perennialist
      @Catholic-Perennialist 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Mthf I have read comments from men who will not recommend marriage to their own sons, because NFP reduces one's own wife to a temptress for a significant part of the month -- a burden not even born by priests and monks.
      All this torment on an issue the Bible never even mentions. Utterly Diabolic.

    • @Catholic-Perennialist
      @Catholic-Perennialist 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Mthf That's precisely what my wife complained of. No one tells you this going in, but it really destroys intimacy. Needless to say, we no longer practice NFP.

    • @Catholic-Perennialist
      @Catholic-Perennialist 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Mthf They're not really permitted to admit any deficiency in the method, because it is the only method permitted by Humanae Vitae.
      The encyclical treats women like a platonic absolute without any biological variation, and treats men like deviants for being unable forego relations for 10-14 days.
      It is far easier to just admit that the encyclical is in error.

      Irregular cycles, if not having an underlying medical condition, are caused mainly by obesity or being underweight (low fat and vegan diets). So instead of blaming it on the method, we should be responsible toward our bodies and admit what is really happening. Sometimes one sin leads to another, and if a woman is not healthy, it is best to put health above pleasure as a priority.
