Those guys and Marauding Captain in ROTA Battalion were just doing their job... Six Samurai Squad and HERO Regiment didn't deserve to see their friends become victims.
I am so sorry for all the NA players who played Nekroz Format, with Declaring Chain links that format was at least bearable in the EU with Volcanics and Burning Abyss being the other 2 top contenders.
Man, this brings back memories. I remembered building Teledad. How much of an arm and a leg I had to give up. Especially, for DADs. So many people gripe about prices nowadays. But to me, nothing topped Teledad. And while a tier zero format, I enjoyed myself. Though, not as much as I used to and really this format signaled my end of my competitive days in YuiGiOh. So overall, thank you for the trip down memory lane. I'll be sure to give this format a try, assuming I can find a willing play group.
snipe hunters main use was to out stardust. since the effect was a chance to destroy and not a guaranteed destruction stardust was unable to activate. people eventually used blackwing gale as a one card out to stardust.
Sorry about the re-upload guys I got some set releases confused and corrected the misinformation in the video. Lots of research went in to making this and I still feel like I could use a second pair of eyes sometimes lol. Once again, if you guys are interested in the format here is some reading material :) kperovic.com/metagame/yugiohdf4e.html?tabid=33&ArticleId=10472 yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/September_2008_Lists_(TCG) yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Teleport_Dark_Armed www.reddit.com/r/yugioh/comments/2xrkc3/a_study_and_guide_into_teledad_creating_the_best/
its awesome you corrected that so fast, you really like what you do and people notice that, i like your content a lot even tough i have to retire in irl
Brain Control skipped the staples section, but was mentioned later on in the video, and Lightsworns I remember ran that double Card of Safe Return back in the day. I recall opponents going turn 1 Foolish Burial for Wulf and drawing 1 or 2 cards, then as they kept milling Wulfs and Plaguespreaders or Summoned their Lumina, they kept on drawing or stacking their top to mill unfortunate draws. JD's priority was a nightmare, and triple Honest at the speed of back then made one hesitant to attack anything LIGHT ever. xD Nice video haha.
Can't wait to see nekrox format. Normally, I don't like tier 0/1 deck formats, but i didn't mind it and enjoyed it because it's like Tele-dad format; A tier 0 format, but still have other good deck options for competitive play. The only thing I hated about it was when Vanity's Emptiness, Skill Drain, and Djinn was at 3, but they answered to it really fast.
so Nekroz is not Tier 0, despite back than having best consistency, power, recovery, protection, and versitility, and yet, Zoodiacs lack protection in their own archetype and doesn't have the best power, and are tier 0? Kind of contradicting yourself XD *Laughs at all the hypocrites*
RanserSSF4 Since when does tier 0 determinate how strong a deck is? As far as I know it's only a term used for the deck that is without a doubt the best of the format.
RanserSSF4 Nekroz was not really tier 0 since it was really easy to side against. Shaddolls, Burning Abyss, qlis, rit beast, al did pretty well, though not all at the same time. I think Nekroz didn't even make world finals, it was satellar vs rit beast
My friend and I got into GOAT, Yugi/Kaiba and we also play Duel Links. I remember how fun TenguPlant format was, but he wasn't playing the game at the time. We'd like to start playing the format, but we don't know the card pool exactly. I'm hoping you'd do a video covering it, because it's a super fun format!
you should do a video on the format around gladiators assualt. I think that format was pretty good and Rouge decks has a pretty good chance of winning against the "tier 1" decks
I love teledad format, lightsworns were so fun to play for me; I had a good time recycling monsters then getting jd on the board and whipping it clean.
Ohhhh, right in the nostalgia. This is what was popular back when I played with a bunch of kids in high school. My absolute favorite era of Yugioh, hands down.
Snipe hunter also could not be negated by statdust at the time because it's effect did not guarantee a destruction to occur. One more reason it was very impactful at the time.
Last time I played "Yu-Gi-Oh!" was back at first release when no one knew what strategy was, however I have looked into this "TeleDaD" deck and I am going to see what I can do with this premise in current format.
love these format videos, could you give you ideas for a formal deck master/comander format where you pick a monster card to always be availible and have to build a deck around him. ive tried some ideas but have problems with the fact most people tend to whant monsters that have strange summoning conditions to ballance them out or they pick mosters with "canot be destroyed be battle" causing the game to crawl to a snails pace. any ideas to deal with these problems?
The current Tele-DAD on an OCG is: "Main Monsters" Semi D. Grepher Semi DAD One or Two Stratos Limited Armageddon Knight One Dark Level 7 Dragon Tuner One Zombie "Main Spells" Semi Teleport Three Allures Three D. Draw Limited ROTA One Twin Twister Limited Duster Limited Reborn Limited Soul Charge Limited Foolish One E - Emergency "Main Traps" One Phoenix One Grinning Virus Semi Strikes Limited Judgement One Bottomless One Mind Crush "Main Extra" One Brionac Limited Omega One Savage Dragon One Ogre One Crystal Wing One Beelze Clockwork Two Knightmare Phoenix One or Two Cerburus One Knightmare Unicorn One Link 3 Tropolic One Dread One Sword
What format would you say games for each Yu-Gi-Oh series to be based on? For Duel Monsters, GOAT is an obvious choice. 5D's could be Edison. The 5th could be Duelist Aliance or Finish line.
Diamond Dude Turbo is something completely different though. DDT focused on gaining card advantage by milling with diamond Dude. You typically ran 3 lightning Vortex, 3 Monster Gate, 3 Devine Sword Phoenix blade and then swarm the field with dimension fusion and DMOC. Diamond Dude Turbo has absolutely NOTHING to do with TeleDaD
YugiNoNo the ryko and some of the cards in the decks have had erata's so if you want to truly use the the decks with the cards as they were before they got an errata turn show anime cards on and you will be able to see the pre-errata cards
I just threw these decks together for the video real quick based on some top decks seen here: kperovic.com/metagame/yugiohdf4e.html?tabid=33&ArticleId=10472
Shadow of Infinity was my luckiest pack. I pulled DAD, multiple copies of the Sacred Beasts, and many of the super rare ritual monsters. Then dumbass me wanting Honest for my Judgement Dragonless Lightsworn, so I traded my DAD to my friend for honest. Everyone at the tournament thought I was an idiot
IIRC, Nekroz format was more of a "Big Five" format. Sure, Nekroz was dominating, but there were full power forms of Tellarknight, Qliphort, Shaddoll, and Burning Abyss.
So due to priority you would still get 1 dark armed dragon destruction effect even if it gets bottomless or torrentialed? But not if you solemn judgment it right?
Hey yugiNoNo, can you do a video on pepe format? It was my favorite format, because of near equal levels of threats and counters. Pretty much all turn ones could make a board to counter a certain turn two, but the problem was guessing what you had to stop.
Dear Yugijesus! Can you please do one for Dragon Rulers/Spellbooks? I think it's called Magic Ruler and I'm really interested in it and want to play the format.
This was the only format I've actually played, I was a a tween and I showed up to a local tournament with a toon deck. Which ya know, toons then aren't "pushed" like modern toon cards/
Ahhh Nekroz format... yep the format which when i came back into yugioh after 2 years of leave had to see and deal with... Great times, man Did Yugioh change when I came back but now I'm here to stay. :)
I had 4 or 5 Emergency Teleports at that time and 2 Stardust Dragons, one of them Ultimate Rare I was like 12 though, so I had no idea those were worth anything
Yeah probably just a mistake. I just threw these decks together for the video real quick based on some top decks seen here: kperovic.com/metagame/yugiohdf4e.html?tabid=33&ArticleId=10472
so i have a question, when theres a specifically format current;y playing ...like lets say in this format... the tele dead. does that mean players can only play decks that involves the format in tournaments or are they fre to use any decks they want?
Nice little video but DDT Diamond Guy Turbo has nothing to do with this deck that's a variation of Darka Armed Turbo mostly reffered to as Dark Armed Return. Tele Dada was basically the evolution of DAD Return after all the hits and the addition of the synchro mechanic.

Can't wait for Nekroz For- oh...
I remember that format.
*stares off into the distance*
Those guys and Marauding Captain in ROTA Battalion were just doing their job...
Six Samurai Squad and HERO Regiment didn't deserve to see their friends become victims.
Princely G wasn't that bad, Nekroz was so easy to side against. Mistake, Spell canceller,
Thanks for ruining the meme my dude
Princely G np

lets all just take in call of the haunted was banned but monster reborn was at 1
Unlike monster reborn, you can activate it during the battle phase
Giant trunade + call = double reborn.
Weasel Hat Gaming thank you. I’m glad someone said this ffs
snipe hunters main use was to out stardust. since the effect was a chance to destroy and not a guaranteed destruction stardust was unable to activate. people eventually used blackwing gale as a one card out to stardust.
love how most of the banned list in this is from goat
I loved this format.
Card of Safe Return was pretty good for LS back then.
Sorry about the re-upload guys I got some set releases confused and corrected the misinformation in the video. It's ok. At least when the video left, it came back. Unlike my Dad. Will you be my Dad?
Adam Long I will be your telledad
Adam Long hawt
YugiNoNo Nekroz formay would be a good introduction next
dragon ruler format (i want to play heros with super polly lol)
Wow, you were super quick on the information correction. Good job :)

Sweet video dude!

Nice video haha.
Woooooooow nice video!!! I Didn't plan in that time until 2013 since 2004 😫
Can't wait to see nekrox format. RanserSSF4 nekroz was hardly tier 0. djinn lock wasn't even that bad
Burning Abyss easily competed with Nekroz, even before the April 2015 list dropped. Literally, it's just not tier 0.
so Nekroz is not Tier 0, despite back than having best consistency, power, recovery, protection, and versitility, and yet, Zoodiacs lack protection in their own archetype and doesn't have the best power, and are tier 0? Kind of contradicting yourself XD

great video man, makes me remember the time when I used to play apprentice monarchs and till this day monarchs have a place in my heart ❤
This is the format I started with. Those memories.
My friend and I got into GOAT, Yugi/Kaiba and we also play Duel Links. I remember how fun TenguPlant format was, but he wasn't playing the game at the time. Plant Format Please!!!!!!!
MST was at 1 and COTH was banned???? The fuck?
Dark times, Anthony Cantos
Anthony Cantos u had Heavy storm, giant trunade, and cold wave plus 3 dust tornado back row wasn't played crazy like now
+XxFinalJFxX 3 months later: no set backrow
god that must have been an expensive format
Ohhhh, right in the nostalgia. This is what was popular back when I played with a bunch of kids in high school. My absolute favorite era of Yugioh, hands down.
To this day, I still love Dragon Ruler/Spellbook format. So many T2 decks could compete back then, it was amazing.
The teledad zombie deck with mezuki, card of safe return and plaguespreader was also very powerful
Got so confused at first when I saw this in my sub-box again. Lol, good to see your willing to re-upload something to fix a mistake. 👍
Absolutely. I don't want to mislead any players into playing the wrong cards. Ruins the fun for them and also makes me look bad.
YugiNoNo #GoodGuyNoNo
I love this series!!
I started playing towards the end of goat format, but mainly remember this as the dominant format. The nostalgia is real.
NEKROZ!!!!!!! can't wait some friends and i have been wanting to make nekroz format decks for a while now :P
Back when Judgment Dragon was amazing... RIP priority.
This is sick
Snipe hunter also could not be negated by statdust at the time because it's effect did not guarantee a destruction to occur. One more reason it was very impactful at the time.
I have an idea. How about Dino Rabbit, Inzektor, and Wind-Up format?
loved this format lol
Last time I played "Yu-Gi-Oh!" was back at first release when no one knew what strategy was, however I have looked into this "TeleDaD" deck and I am going to see what I can do with this premise in current format.
Best format ever

What format would you say games for each Yu-Gi-Oh series to be based on?

Diamond Dude Turbo has absolutely NOTHING to do with TeleDaD
that awkward moment when people judge me when they see me trying to dickslap the like button. only for yuginono
TheBlobb84 lol
YugiNoNo the ryko and some of the cards in the decks have had erata's so if you want to truly use the the decks with the cards as they were before they got an errata turn show anime cards on and you will be able to see the pre-errata cards
Why did you don't put the Royal Opression in the Tele-Dad Deck ???
I just threw these decks together for the video real quick based on some top decks seen here: kperovic.com/metagame/yugiohdf4e.html?tabid=33&ArticleId=10472
>Allure of Darkness at 3
Jesus Christ that is so much draw power, somehow even more than Upstart at 3 just 2 years later
cyber dragon was limited in 08!!!!???? (mind blown)
what a time to be alive.
HAT FORMAT INTRODUCTION! PLS!
I can't remember what the format was officially called but it had plant tengu. When everyone was using Reborn Tengu
You really were..
Man I miss Cold Wave; to this day it's still my favorite card
My all-time fav deck lol. The power I had as a kid when you have 3 DADs lol
IIRC, Nekroz format was more of a "Big Five" format. Sure, Nekroz was dominating, but there were full power forms of Tellarknight, Qliphort, Shaddoll, and Burning Abyss.
pepe format. The format that made people who invested in it salty as hell.
J LR They were stupid. They know it was powerful and invested in it to lose out. They look for what they get.
Well It wasn't expected as every other Tier 0 deck for a long time in the history of the game lived a for a decent amount of time.
as much as i dreaded them, Dragon Rulers had two distinct formats of being the best deck, and can probably justify having a video for each one of them
Not a single word on zombies, who could swarm the field with synchros and used and abused card of safe return
So due to priority you would still get 1 dark armed dragon destruction effect even if it gets bottomless or torrentialed? But not if you solemn judgment it right?
wow nice i have to build that type of deck to play for fun and I didn't know it was call like that I always thought it was because of telleknights
Oh then nostalgia of playing glad beasts. I really want that deck to get some more support
It did.2 new Fusions.
Holy crap! Call of the haunted was banned? WHAT! 😂😂😂
After Nekroz Format, could you cover the Summer 2014 Format (Aka, the Bujin, Geargia, Sylvan, Lightsworn format) or the +1 Fire Fist Format?
Nekroz were 2015 not 2014
Remol Lomer Can you read, bro?
apparently no omg
Bubble Beat Format!
Full Force Teledad was my favorite deck of all time
what is your top 5 favorite format?
Can you do HAT format (July 2014)? It was so good and my friends and I have actually kept our decks from then and still play it.
Hey yugiNoNo, can you do a video on pepe format? It was my favorite format, because of near equal levels of threats and counters. Pretty much all turn ones could make a board to counter a certain turn two, but the problem was guessing what you had to stop.
Number 1 rule.Always play around Juggler and Wavering Eyes
were machinas and X sabers both on this format right?
Please do spellbook/dragon ruler format!!
Dear Yugijesus! Can you please do one for Dragon Rulers/Spellbooks? I think it's called Magic Ruler and I'm really interested in it and want to play the format.
This was the only format I've actually played, I was a a tween and I showed up to a local tournament with a toon deck. Which ya know, toons then aren't "pushed" like modern toon cards/
can cards such as stack reviver, rom clodia, draconnet, dual asembworm, and decks such as steelswarm and evilswarm be added to the meta???
For lightsworn list:
- 1 lightsworn celestia
- 1 lightsworn ryko
- 1 lightsworn ehren
- 1 plaguespreader zombie
+ 2 card of safe return
+ 1 heavy storm
+ 1 lightning vortex
- 3 anti spell fragrance
+ 3 beckoning light
Good video as usual, only a question, Why Gyzarus in Lightsworn profile?
Necroface was hard as fuck to get back then.
Ahhh Nekroz format... yep the format which when i came back into yugioh after 2 years of leave had to see and deal with... Great times, man Did Yugioh change when I came back but now I'm here to stay. :)
Um, wut exactly does rota search in the gadget deck.
I had 4 or 5 Emergency Teleports at that time and 2 Stardust Dragons, one of them Ultimate Rare
I was like 12 though, so I had no idea those were worth anything
How does Crush Card affect big monsters before they become a prob... OH! Right this card got a stupid errata
Synchro summons was the best yugioh time.
why you dont put dimension fissure in glads it was staple in that format
Why is a "Reinforcement of the Army" in the Gadget Decklist? There is no Warrior in the Deck ..
Peter Lustig probably should just be MST
Yeah probably just a mistake. I just threw these decks together for the video real quick based on some top decks seen here: kperovic.com/metagame/yugiohdf4e.html?tabid=33&ArticleId=10472
YugiNoNo I would like an introduction to Djinn-Lock format (or the format where Djinn-Lock was at full power)
You should go over the current japanese format
Ok so im wondering what was more powerful tela dad or dad returned
Why not post comzo blazer format? My personal favorite format
Why the glad beast in lightsworn?
why didn't people run level 3 Gravity Bind Beat Down. Ave of Despair and Mage Power with Mataza the Zapper also Raging Flame Sprite
will you ever make mokey mokey king turbo format video
so i have a question, when theres a specifically format current;y playing ...like lets say in this format... the tele dead. does that mean players can only play decks that involves the format in tournaments or are they fre to use any decks they want?
EFC497 up to tournament organizers, but you should be allowed to play all decks as long as they are within banlist and pack standards.
No more formats being covered? :(
I like the kin tele undead zombie version with card of safe return
Was Zombie TELE-DAD with Card of safe Return viable at the time in the TCG?
Definitely since none of the Zombies were hit. Go nuts
When xyz's came out, in terms of meta decks, I wasn't a fan of anything that came out until nekroz format. It might have been an annoying/disgusting format(s), but it was really fun to play through. 4 big decks that were all very different, and competed somewhat evenly with each other. Why is nobody playing Card of safe return?
Btw, what is the background music
Why was cyber dragon limited lol
Nekroz format wasn't even that long ago
Snipe Hunter can kill Stardust Dragon, another critical aspect to why he's ran.
What about gigaplant OTK bro?
Format with wind ups and dino rabbit next?
Pyramid Gaming [PTSD INTENSIFIES]
What happened to the ebay page
