Tom always makes such interesting decisions. They aren't random, he is clearly thinking about it and using some sort of logic but I can't for the life of me understand what that logic is.
Tom only shooting balls to the right on that last boss and then having them all knocked straight out because of the clockwise movement is a very tom thing to do.
For next time tom, please remember that doctorb DELETES ITSELF FROM YOUR DECK FOREVER upon use, unless you upgrade it in which case you can use it once per battle (at level 2) and infinitely often (at level 3). If given the choice to upgrade the doctorb up from level 1 or healing once for some % of hour HP, the doctorb upgrade is going to give you way more healing in the long run.

With a max health of 50 the max damage you're going to deal, is 98. That's negligible at this stage of the game. Sure, he was healing a little here and there, but how much more damage would that really contribute?

I think I'd prefer blind to be "The next attack will miss" and the chance to _inflict_ blind to be the random factor. Functionally the same thing, but it turns the blind status symbol from "are you going to do anything this time?" to "oh sweet, they're gonna miss!"
Tom getting a second orbelisk instead of the Nosferatorb when he already gets +2/+2 to all orbs makes me sad. Really would have worked well with build, though I find that every build needs some kind of healing. Edit: Also, him taking the wall ring over the ring of indignation when his build involves lots of self damage and self healing makes me sad.
I felt it in my soul. They would have had great synergy together too. I've tried a healing build before, it's only weakness is the shield guys. You need overflow for sure.
i have no idea how the nosferatorb works. i used it once and the second time it just did like 60 damage to me. I thought it dealt damage to you then sapped life from the enemy. taking more damage every use seems bad too. i think i used it wrong because i thought the second use of the orb would just deal 21 damage to me
@@mathewcole3638 Or stocking up on orbs with some sort of pierce damage/bomb generation. Ice or the weird ghost one seem to do well if you can stack damage buffs (stacking crits is my second favourite besides the magnet)
Tom taking the Wall bounce amulet instead of the "2x damage to enemies when you take damage" amulet really hurt my brain. An integral part of his build is him taking damage, so _why_ wouldn't he harness it to his advantage?

@@ducky5945 more than wall bounces probably, especially since enemies in this area usually have portals on the edge of the map that prevent you from going to close to the sides or corners.
1:45 Catching those stones is actually not bad, because they are usually upgraded stones. I mostly play the Crucible mode though, so the extra life can be too important to lose.

This is hilarious! I was just facepalming at every decision and misplay but I've seldom laughed so much! I was thinking at the end 'Man, if it weren't for those misplays would this have been such a ridiculously funny avalanche? Probably not.' This is the kind of content only found on the Angory Tom channel.
Glad to see more of this ^^ Thanks to you I got the early access on release(I've been playing this during my stream breaks and plotting builds in my spare time xD) and I've been enjoying it a lot, but I also love watching how you play it. I bought this game yesterday, I beat it first try and it was so fun. I even got a achievement that 0.1 of players had. Thank you for showing me this game Tom it's fun as hell
Ah this game is great! 100% convinced to buy it from these videos! Just had a run and reached the labyrinth wall face guy with the Powder Collector converting pegs to bombs, a Short Fuse to detonate bombs in one hit, a PegBag to add extra refreshes and The Gift That Keeps Giving to add extra durability to pegs. My first orb was a level 3 Bob-Orb that converting every 6 hits and because that level is DENSE it bounced for a solid 2 minutes and triggered so many bombs that the game just crashed… It was *very good*. (Also the game saves your progress before each fight, so nothing lost!)
It does. First upgrade makes it so it stays in your deck and becomes one use per fight. Second upgrade makes it so you can shoot it twice in a fight (and gives the option for twice in a row).
I love in this one he had a killer bomb build, throwing out like 10 bombs in a single turn... And THEN picks up the bombs hurt you relic lmao Classic Tom.
Every vid, Tom gets a little closer to ultimate victory, and I am here for every moment of it. Peglin is really enthralling, and I'm not sure why. Is it the randomness and unpredictability of the bounces~?

Love me some Peglin! bought it the other day after watching the 100 bombs at once video. i was suuuuuper impressed with the Poltorbgeist actually, ended up getting me to the end of the game
Whenever you take damage, deal 2x that to the enemy. so every bomb you explode would have been 8 more damage. It basically would have negated half an item's worth of any relic that was reducing bomb damage
I love this game, it's obviously like peggle, but it adds like a bit of a light strategy component, not to mention the roguelike nature of it. I honestly think this game might be the best casual game I've ever seen. If the devs keep adding stuff, more chapters and mission and enemies and all that, I think it will become a huge thing. I can already imagine the half assed Russian cash grab copies that will made... Vampeg, Pegasus.... Frankenpeg, okay that one is a bit dumb... It's perfect.

However, it is understandable to just start in a more middle ground, between 9.99 and 59.99. Fans look down on when devs increase the price, even when the game has increased in value due to updates. They also despise small paid dlc that for some indie devs would be an update. It's a tough position to be in.

You really should stop sleeping on Poltorbgeist. It damages the entire room. It's like a free bomb+, especially once you get into the hundreds of damage.
I beat the game very easily with a build that started being based around a fully-upgraded poltorbgeist and eventually also included a fully-upgraded echorb, and against certain enemy formations, they turned out to be really helpful. I definitely wouldn't recommend underestimating the orbs that damage all enemies, as they can be very strong.
Just had a run go similar to this before watching this video. The middle red bomb got me killed. Whether you've taken the upgraded bombs or not, the red bomb is in the middle on that stage atm. But gottem! Totally counts as a win. The next screen says Main Menu either way. Good video!

it seems the first great filter is that wall guy. he kills you in one hit if you don't stop him. the second seems to be the weird upside down person. those 4 black holes at the top are just too much if you don't have a crazy bomb build. also as soon as I saw the title I knew it was another bomb build.
the sapper is such a fun relic even if it ends runs more than it wins them but with the infernal gem the wand of skulltimate power is just so op. and pls upgrade doctorb if you have to pick them, at lvl 2 they stay at least in your deck

Omg, Tom taking half max hp when he's lost almost 50 hp in one throw with the sapper sack. He loves the loot too much. He'd have to hit 20 pegs to make up for 1 bomb and with Tom, he's likely to hit more than one bomb in 20 pegs
Has anyone mentioned that the Ring of Indignation does 3x of ALL damage dealt, and not just from enemy attacks? Could have been a very different outcome, lol
The gem is honestly the best relic in the game as long as you dont have the sapper sack. I mean I wouldnt take it in the forest, but in these later levels there's just no possibility you wont fully heal with each shot, so only having 50 hp doesnt even matter *EDIT* ok apparently there is a possibility if you're Tom

when the square moves up it pushes ur orb inside and triggers whole bunch of them

The worst part is that Tom knows he's making silly choices and yet he does anyway
it seems the first great filter is that wall guy. he kills you in one hit if you don't stop him. the second seems to be the weird upside down person. those 4 black holes at the top are just too much if you don't have a crazy bomb build.
also as soon as I saw the title I knew it was another bomb build.

the sapper is such a fun relic even if it ends runs more than it wins them but with the infernal gem the wand of skulltimate power is just so op. and pls upgrade doctorb if you have to pick them, at lvl 2 they stay at least in your deck
Took me so long to realise that you're the reason "spooky scary"/"spooky scared" has entered my vocabulary. I say it whenever my cat gets spooked and she puffs up her tail & spine fur - she literally looks like a cartoon.

Awesome. I personally find that normal mode is a bit easy but cruciball mode has a few less fun aspects

Omg, Tom taking half max hp when he's lost almost 50 hp in one throw with the sapper sack. He loves the loot too much. He'd have to hit 20 pegs to make up for 1 bomb and with Tom, he's likely to hit more than one bomb in 20 pegs

Has anyone mentioned that the Ring of Indignation does 3x of ALL damage dealt, and not just from enemy attacks? Could have been a very different outcome, lol
The gem is honestly the best relic in the game as long as you dont have the sapper sack. I mean I wouldnt take it in the forest, but in these later levels there's just no possibility you wont fully heal with each shot, so only having 50 hp doesnt even matter
*EDIT* ok apparently there is a possibility if you're Tom
