Thanks brother. Just bought Avata and your little movies make me motivated to explore .. love that you are honest about exiting moments and your fanatic commands haha love it . Greatings from The Netherlands
Good evening my man 🙏🏻 welcome, I was driving through the Netherlands a couple of weeks ago with work, you sure do have a lot of windmills to explore there 🥰 I’ve always gota keep it honest too, it’s the only way, would love to know the fanatic parts you mean 😂🫶🏼
DJI flyer here from Georgia US. Beautiful flight! Because of the new update, my Avata, Integra goggles and the Motion Controller are arriving tomorrow. I can’t wait. Very excited to fly my mini 4 with the goggles, but want to eventually learn to fly the Avata using manual mode. FPV flying is something I’ve always wanted to try, and your video has now got me on edge to get going. I just love the mini 4, but as stated, am anxious to fly FPV with the Avata. Maybe you can answer a ? for me. When flying with the controller as you were here, and having the Integra goggles, when in manual mode, I assume there is no GPS…correct? Thanks for sharing!!
Hiya mate, good to read this from across the pond 🤙🏽 I went straight into it using manual after a fair few hours in a simulation. My motion controller is still in the wrapper. I would recommend having a look at some of my first videos in the series when I was starting out 😀 When I’m flying in full manual there is no GPS with regards to letting go of the controls. And it stays still like the Mini or a Mavic. You can however flick it straight to normal mode and it’ll act similar to a Mavic etc You also have a brake button so it instantly hovers but I haven’t had to use that yet Hope this all helps, don’t hesitate to ask me anything else 🙏🏻
Thank you for the response! Yes, what you have advised me here really helps! Awesome how technology works today. To meet a new friend from so far away so quickly is just awesome. I will check all your videos out. Thank you me friend!!
Man you giving me anxiety flying that close to the water lol 😅 I lost my first avata to the water lol 🙄🙄 I have a new one now.....😅 no water flying for me lol.... Great footage 🔥🔥🔥
Hi. I only picked up my Avata a couple of weeks age and have yet to get out properly with it and so just wanted to say that I really enjoyed your flight, What a great spot to fly. If I could suggest a possible flight (in the same town) being the pontcysyllte-aqueduct. It’s surroundings are quite spectacular and it is Beautifully engineered. Popped a like and a sub on and look forwards to future flights. 👍
Sorry for the late reply and thanks a lot for the comment and sub, much appreciated indeed. The aqueduct was on my list to film but I ran out of time, I have a flight path in mind too. The Avata is great, I’ve been flying it since January here on my channel. Thanks again 🙏🏻
Nice one bud and thanks for the shout-out 😁 I keep forgetting avata is basically osmo action, if I remember correctly. Love that wide angle on it. Next one won't be as scary, after 5 flights you won't even notice you're flying above the water 😂
Doing the same or better maneuver with the motion controller2 at N mode would be a piece of cake. You just have to point the small circle with the single stick motion and that's it. Indeed DJI made Avata so that such maneuver can be accomplished by anyone curious with a little practice. No point of being so nervous at M mode and be a slave to it. You should make full use of the tool you have to do the job you want. Avata will gladly do that for you with ease. So many TH-cam Avata videos advocate "the almighty M mode" for no other reason than some bragging rights.
thanks for your comment, I'm not sure which manoeuvre you are referring to, I'm guessing the "under bridge" part......I'm certainly not a slave to manual but I like to practice things in full manual so that when I try another FPV I'm not a beginner again. I'm sure my Canon R5 has a fairly good Auto mode to shoot video but as a professional, I would like the camera to do what I want to do with full control.
