Adding visit California at least 4 times a year to my vision board, prayer board!! You make me feel like I am right there!! I have taken many vacations. This was the only one where I cried when it was time to go home!!! THANK YOU for the AMAZING rides!! I LOVE THEM!!!💕💕💕
At 1962 Glencoe Way ( 4:12 and 6:20) is Frank Lloyd Wright's Samuel Freeman House, one of three textile block houses built in the Hollywood Hills in the 1920's. Harriet Freeman lived in the house until 1986, when she donated it to the University of Southern California. The Freeman House suffered earthquake damage and is not currently available for tours.
I'm sure that many of these houses are quite nice inside, and no doubt they're surrounded by marvelous gardens. But the streets are so cramped! I can't imagine navigating through these neighborhoods.
All true. Most of these Outpost Estates streets were laid out in the mid 1920's. Being 100 years old, I'm sure its planners never foresaw the number and usage of such heavy vehicles that are driven today. Often, it was common to have only one vechicle per household.
Another beautiful winter’s day in the hills of Los Angeles. I can’t thank you enough. What I’ve noticed further into this video is how unkept much of the foliage is, and some of the streets are terrible. I hate to see these things happening in what is such a lovely place.
*ALL* of the streets are terrible, both in the hills and the flats. I really think the Hollywood Hills are beautiful in most circumstances, but the pavement these days is just an eyesore.
@@DeflatingAtheism I agree. The Southern California I grew up and lived in for most of my life has pretty much disappeared. It’s heartbreaking. There’s no other word for it to me.
thank you for yet another Hollywood hills, as always a pleasure to watch) we are waiting for the next ones and, if possible, slowing down with beautiful views)) by the way, if necessary, I can give you a couple of ideas for filming in the future, maybe it will come in ;)
Thanks! Glad you're enjoyed the video. Just posted another one from my drive yesterday in the hills. It was a cloudy day but at the half way point captured a great panoramic view! Would appreciate your ideas for future filming! Thanks!
42:49 - This house will be familiar if you’ve seen David Lynch’s “Lost Highway”. Also, if you were to climb down the hill from where the car wreck occurs in David Lynch’s “Mulholland Drive”- as Laura Harrings’ character does- you’d stumble out somewhere around here. Hmmm…
Interesting drive. I truly don't understand the narrow streets. How is a firetruck supposed to make It past those cars and other things in the road when even you had to pull over to let another car pass. Not a place I would like to live. Interesting drive nonetheless. Thank you. GOD bless
Yah the streets are very narrow. I wonder how long it would take for me to start getting annoyed with trying to let ppl pass to move forward! It's very close to the Hollywood Bowl and Highland Blvd so I can't imagine what the traffic is like during rush hour.
Awesome vid as usual! I will never understand why people with that much money would buy a house on those cramped, damaged streets on the side of a mountain.
Aaay!! I will never get enough of your vids. I like that first street. Looks so peaceful with all that foliage Jeez, that guy at 3:30 should not be on the road I bet the view at 5:49 is incredible at night Aah, the curves from 8:00 to 11:00 are beautiful
Seriously! I really thought he was gonna take my side mirror out! He didn't even try to slow down! Yah I'd love to do an evening video.. But my camera doesn't do great at night.
One gets the impression that the people who live here lead quiet, secure lives with no noisy neighbours who have loud parties, and boisterous pool parties with the possible exception of the speed demon at the beginning of the video.
Yes I'd agree with that assumption. I think the problem arises when Young kids rent out a home from Airbnb or Squatters move in and cause problems. I see situations like this pop-up on the news sometimes. Saw a squatter issue come on the news today in Beverly Hills throwing loud parties.
The streets are so awful, it's not worth living there! And the worst part is those homes are in excess of 1,000,000 dollars to buy. Terrible. The streets give the feeling that any moment something bad will happen and there's nowhere to walk, either.
Thanks my friend again sun and summer !Gas money
Thank you! You've been so kind! Gas is expensive in Los Angles so this is much appreciated!
it is awesome you go to the dead ends of streets thank you awesome as always

Enjoyed seeing this part of LA. Beautiful streets, sunshine and palm trees. New sub to your channel here. Thanks for taking us along! 😍🏝☀
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching!
Love these videos. Different perspectives as you go into all the nooks and crannies and not just stick to the main streets. Good quality too.

That's amazing! I'm a fan of his work, didn't know there were so many in LA
Peaceful places for a relaxing vacation. Good shots

Die Umgebung ist friedlich!!😊😊😊😊
Ich dachte dasselbe! Danke fürs zuschauen!
The thought of owning a house at this place one day is the only thing that motivates me to study rn.
Hope your studying goes well! Your future home awaits here in the hills!
Nice
Thanks for watching!
I love how much vegetations there are!
Also, why was the alfa romeo coming so fast 😭 3:34
Seriously! I thought he was going to hit me or take my side mirror out! He didn't even slow down!
Very nice👍✨ Im from japan🇯🇵 ありがとうございます🙇
Thank you!
The one thing you are not hearing are the 7AM leaf blowers. It's a daily tradition in the nice parts of town.
The most beautiful city in the world. Maybe in the next life.
Glad you enjoyed it! Hopefully sooner than next life! Thanks for watching!
Depends which part of town. It's so huge, 1 out of every 35 people in the US lives in LA County. The Hollywood Hills are spectacular.
❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
The vibe of the Hills is very "bohemian". Things are supposed to look a bit unkempt.
I definitely enjoyed that vibe this part of the hills!
Looks awesome.....you can tell that most of these homes were built before the state got out of hand with laws and rules and regulations
A lot of regulations indeed. Glad you enjoyed the tour. Thanks for watching!

The people living in The Hollywood Hills like to pretend that there’s no such thing as fire.🔥🤪
@@janeceeastwood8035 Almost most of those homes date from the mid 1920's. Most of those homes have never been touched by fire.

Good question! I can only assume it's for the views or being able to say they live in the hills. Glad you enjoyed the video!
It's very safe compared to the rest of LA. Maniacs don't like walking up hills.
Hollywood hill is a maze i be scared getting lose they got beautiful houses up those mountains. 🏠 🌴
The Hollywood Hills is a pretty large area with different vibes depending on the neighborhood. The homes are nice!
You figure it out after a month. Former resident here.

Lots of vegetation but no flowers.
Yah a lot of green. Thanks for watching

Does Siberia really look similar to this? I'm really curious! I don't know anything about Siberia. Just that it's very cold! Thank you for watching!

The streets unfortunately do need a lot of repairs and maintenance!
So stay in the rust belt. Enjoy the brown snow and power outages.
I assume reading is not your strong point? I am not in the rust belt, and snow is yellow, not brown.@@kaivrock
