Im from Scotland and ive always been fascinated by the Hollywood hills etc if or when i win big on the lottery I'm moving to the hills obviously with a good view over the city it's looks amazing and the LA lifestyle looks great.. Also im loving the videos.
I loved this drive. As always, there are some standout houses, but overall, to me, Mt. Olympus has a different feel than most of the Hollywood Hills. Your drives showcases how beautiful Los Angeles is in lovely weather, with everything green and blooming, even in the winter. One of the things I really miss about all of Southern California is the palm trees.
Yes! Mount Olympus definitely has a different feel. I'm thinking because it seems more planned out, maintained roads and bigger homes compared to much of the hillside homes of the hills.
Yes, it has a different feel because it was designed as a planned community in the 1960s, unlike most of the rest of the Hollywood Hills which just grew organically.
An absolutely beautiful video!!. I so miss LA when im away. Its my second home.Outstanding beauty with beautiful views.Thank you .Rog.Pacific Sunset( LA).
I really enjoy each of your videos, especially when you tour the neighborhoods. By going slower it is possible to see the details of the houses, cars, nature and the environment. The videos in Hollywood Hills are now my favorites, without forgetting of course the trip between Santa Monica and Malibu.
bro thank you! everything as requested)) and a stop at the view of downtown and the new Hollywood hills, some residents have cool views! and how treacherously the view of downtown disappeared on the way down)))) I’m your fan) but the area I saw from the past seems a little more comfortable, it seems...
Yah I kept your request in mind when I did this drive! Glad you enjoyed the video. Yah there is a huge contrast between the two areas! I think I like the homes at the bottom of the hill on the previous videos.. But the views aren't as nice.
Yes, I don't think the community allows For Sale signs to be displayed, but I do recall the odd "Open House" sign in front of some houses; but only for a day at a time.
I‘m a new sub! Hello there 🙂 I just found you and I can‘t stop watching your videos 🙂 I‘ve never been to Hollywood Hills/LA and I‘m clearly missing out. I have to get there and till then please keep posting 🤗 thank you! Greetings from Austria
Aayy! Another one! At 5:48 I feel like I've seen that car before, the red one Jeez, the white house at 7:11, what?! What was going on at 8:20? Best part for me: those winding roads from around 21:00 to 27:00
Yah i wondered what the fire trucks were doing there. Didn't look like anything was burning! Glad you liked the winding roads. I wasn't sure if people would like this part since there wasn't a lot of visible homes
I think mostly because it was designed as a planned community in the 60s, unlike the bird streets. Also, it was seen as a more nouveau riche area. And, as mentioned, further away from Beverly Hills, Holmby Hills, etc.
LA is built on a desert, so I'm assuming that all the greenery appears courtesy of the millions of gallons of water poured on it from the Colorado river and upstate sources. How long can this go on?
@@Omwvlog: LA was never Sahara-like. Some folks call it Mediterranean. When it had fewer people and businesses to support, it got along well, but as it grew, water from the Owens Valley and Colorado River became key to its health. The original landscape is still visible in the unirrigated canyons and hills of the city and environs.
There were actually a lot of expensive cars in the video. Bentley 7:02 and Rolls Royce 11:30. G-wagon and Range Rovers were the most common. Then BMW and Porsche. I was gonna time stamp them. But there were too many of the same cars. Thanks for watching!
11:24 there's one, that just blew a tire??. 21:09 is another benz that looks fancy af. Last video had 3 rolls Royces in a line, I almost missed them. And the video before that, I'm sure they drove past some VIPs house, it had like a Benz with like 4 GMCs parked behind it
Thanks for the video. I used to drive through some of these streets on an almost daily basis for about 20 years (I lived Mt. Olympus adjacent). It was just easier to drive through these streets than the usually narrow, winding "old Hills" streets!
BRO PLEASE MORE HOLLYWOOD HILLS 💪🏻
Planning more! Glad your enjoying my Hollywood Hills videos!

Ooo Scotland must be beautiful! I'd love to win the lottery and do the same! Glad you're enjoying the videos!

@@Omwvlog Yes, you’re right. More convenient living, but without much of the charm, in my opinion.
Yes! I agree! No charm compared to the others.

@@seashoreut Interesting.

Thanks Rog! Glad you enjoyed it!
Minus the palm trees these beautiful curving roads build into the hillside remind me of some Cincinnati neighborhoods.
Never been to Cincinnati but maybe one day. I have family in Columbus. Thanks for watching!

Glad you enjoyed the video! yah it's a different perspective. Thanks for watching!
I like these hollywood hills homes 🏠
Yah they're nice! I've read there are celebrities that live up here too

thank you for sharing this video
Wonderful drive. 1 thing that surprised me was no for sale signs. Thank you for the drive. GOD bless
Yah I thought about this too! The other hollywood hills videos I saw a few for sale signs but not here! Glad you enjoyed the drive!

I went to a party at Mt. Olympus back in the 80s. It's been the only time I've been there.
Ooo what was the party like?!
Zeus drive looks an attractive place to reside.Rog.Pacific Sunset( LA).
Yah it does look nice!

Glad you enjoyed the ride! Thanks for watching!
Bro thanks for the these videos i wish we could get drone shots from Hollywood hills atleast each hill and street
Glad you're enjoying the videos! I'll have to save up for a drone. A decent one seems to cost a pretty penny! Thanks for watching!
What you're not hearing are the 7AM leaf blowers. Boy, do they like using that thing.

Love this area! ….I’ve always wondered why it doesn’t have the same cache as the Bird streets. 🤔🤷🏼♂️
Good question! Maybe it's because the Bird streets are just above the strip and closer to Beverly Hills? I'm not sure tho 🤔

I wonder what kind of emergency brakes these people have on their cars to par on these steep slopes.
I bet they have to change their brakes more frequently compared to others!
Hills make me dizzy. What if you tip over?
Tipping over wouldn't be good 💀😆
If this is a high income area i see a lack of expensive high end type cars i. e. Rolls Royce , Mercedes Benz , etc .

Laurel Canyon blvd keeps getting piled with traffic!

Can u cover Bel Air
I have some old videos of Bel Air. But I'll do some new ones soon!
