    Okay so a couple of things. Firstly, Game Binds
    Fortnite - Left button "Left D-Pad" (Edit) Right Button "A" (Jump)
    Modern Warfare - Left Button "B" (Slide) Right Button "A" (Jump)
    Secondly, I sincerely hope yall enjoy this video lol. I worked hard to get it out in a timely manner, and UMG can't leave me alone on account of my new outro music, so I'm not going to be profiting off of this video unfortunately. That won't be stopping the Review of the Eswap Pro, or the upcoming 6 month update on the Wolverine TE though!
    Thirdly, I'm aware PowerA released a next-gen version of this controller. It came out after I purchased the og Spectra, and they're essentially identical wither way. But, I might still buy, and Review the new one sometime. Might! Lol

      Hey i have been looking for just random controllers and have found this one called the BioNek vulcan pro or something. I haven't really put much effort into researching but thought I would let my favorite reviewer know and see what he things! Also I think it's only like 50, and has the same features and the fusion pro. Could it be a contender?

    No idea if anyone else has experienced this issue but given this is the second PowerA controller I've gotten of the exact same kind (the one in this video) and it also has fallen victim to the same problem I have to believe it's happened to others out there too. Over time, about 4-5 months maybe 3-4 hundred hours of play time. While there's surprisingly no stick drift I've experienced, as in gradual movements from the analogue sticks even when I'm not touching them. There has been wayyy worse problems. With the right analogue stick, it will randomly and spastically act in-game as if I suddenly went hard on moving it straight upwards, like I'll be running in COD and all of a sudden I'll be looking at the sky and I need to periodically pull the stick down to level out again. Then for the left stick, it will not register input unless some slight pressure is pushed down on the stick. So you almost need to hold it down in a kind of half-clicked in position in order for it to register movement at all. Which is incredibly infuriating for stealth games, where slight input differences is the left analogue stick are pretty vital. Which really sucks for me to say, because I love the price of these, I love how they look, how they feel, they feel perfect for my hands, which is the only reason I crossed my fingers hoped it was a once off issue and bought a second one, only to see the exact same identical problems with the analogue sticks return.

    • @vCuda
      @vCuda  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I haven't seen too many comments discussing this, I may have seen one or two, but none that I can remember off the top of my head. I'm not entirely sure what the issue could be, or what causes it. Stick drift is normal, but this is clearly something very different. Something could be inside of the thumbsticks potentiometers, but I don't know how it would happen more than once

  • @dravenscarr8131
    @dravenscarr8131 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Yo man, love your videos, I've had a Spectra for a little over 12 months now. And it's served me VERY well, I agree with you on one reliability problem though, that's with my right stick, it squeaks when moving it around. No real issues with it though, I've also got the fusion and as much as I love the feel of it, the paddles suck. So I alternate between them.
    Keep up the good work man, peace out

    Got elite 1 and 2, both good but both broke, £300. The spectra has a big dead zone but you get used to it, built solid/solid feel. Also the PDP deluxe is like 10 times more sensitive and responsive than the elites with 0 deadzone but is built like shit and keeps breaking. Had a spectra for almost 2 year’s, dropped loads of times, everything works fine, no drift

      (Since I don't know what games you play meaning I don't know their mechanics or button layouts let's go with Warzone as an example and go from there brain storming what you want from my advice) My advice is to reduce the use of the sticks as much as possible while still maintaining a practical and comfortable button layout. To start off put Auto Tac Sprint on, not Auto Move Forward as that will really mess up your day, this is to reduce if not out right stop the need to press down the left stick. Next part depends on the if you play on default or tackle. If on default put melee (R3) to left button (to stop using the stick), then I highly recommend putting your B button (crouch/prone/slide) to the right one that way you can slide cancel by pressing back right button, then Aim, and last A (This also helps to drop shot while leaving your finger on the sticks)

    • @cesarsalazar8618
      @cesarsalazar8618 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Now if you play on tactical put the crouch/prone/slide(R3) button to right back button or keep it how it is your choice. But I still think your left back button should be your melee. Hope this helps you out and anyone else who reads this.

    I personally have had the fusion V1 for over a year now with really no problem. It may just be a faulty controller on some people's end as that happens and sadly it will always be like that. But I love it a lot and have had no issue with it. I have even a power a enhanced controller for switch that after a year still works wonderfully. I had the elite series 2 for about 3 months before it broke and I had to get another one. Keep in mind that it was my 4th elite replacement in general and I have only had one fusion V1. For what it is I know people who have and love the spectra but I can say I personally recommend power a a lot. Especially when I can get a bit competitive in fps games and the controller gets used heavily

  • @1fareast14
    @1fareast14 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Have both the fusion and spectra. Buttons and sticks feel the same. The sticks have the narrowest gate, shortest range of motion of any of my controllers, don't like that. Stick tension relatively high. Dpad is stiffer and more defined on the fusion, but the spectra is good too. Feels like ds4 dpad but firmer. Both have excellent bumpers, prefer them over og xbox and wolverine. Trigger stops are fine, but don't change the output values like wolverine. A press with stop engaged gives you .3/1 values. The grips flare out less than other controllers, which I don't prefer. Back buttons are great but a bit small. They feel better and more reachable than wolverine te. On par with wolverine ultimate and ds4 back button attachment. The fusion has more extra inputs, but the paddles have some mush before they click. Would recommend the spectra over the fusion for those who only need two buttons.

Also the left thumbstick doesn't work if you push it straight up, but if you push up and slightly left or right it works fine 🤷 Way to frustrating to play with so now have an elite series 2, for me wireless is a big plus that's often overlooked.

    I will tell you exactly how companies can afford to make controllers so seemingly cheap; the prices are insanely bloated to begin with because console peripherals and software is where all the profit comes from for MS and Soyny (Nintendo make fat profit even on the consoles themselves).
    Controller prices are set to basically subsidize the consoles themselves. Companies like Razer abuse that to charge insane amounts just because they can. I guarantee you even if Razer is being run by incompetent bonobos that an item like the Razer Wolverine is almost entirely profit even with every single possible cost taken into consideration.
    The vast majority of the research for controllers was done long ago, near all the R&D cost is long gone even if MS claim it was some absurd amount, manufacturing & labour cost is basically nothing, 0 advertisement cost, throw in all other costs and it's still diddly squat to make a controller.

      @vCuda  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I heard back in 2017 Microsoft was making the newest Xbox at the time (One X) at a loss. I never knew up until that point that that was the case with most consoles and the accessories/peripherals were where they were making their money. It's weird to see just how cheap these controllers get when companies decide not to be AS gluttonous
      That being said, for what the Wolverine controllers are, they aren't the worst priced controllers on the market. The V2 is a completely different story though lol

    Hi! would you recommend the spectra infinity or the original core xbox series s/x controller, based on lifespan and quality (additional buttons on the back are not a game changer for me) im having a hard time picking between them. Thank you in advance!

  • @imaSoldier187
    @imaSoldier187 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    This controller is solid had one since cold war no drift no loose or broken buttons yet everything is solid on it. I bought the specrtra infinity recently though just to get something newer and so far returned two, each one had stick drift out the box and one had very lose buttons on the back. I am on my third now and it has stick drift as well only stopping at 7-8 deadzone. I am not sure what is going on with quality control but its lacking. My friend on the other hand has the infinity with like almost no stick drift on 0 deadzone. I guess I am just unlucky probably going to return the current one I have now as well. I don't care if it has minimal drift lets say at 2, I prefer 3 deadzone but when I have to go to 8 out of the box, nah that is just bs cause its only going to get worse with age.

    I have had an elite 2, the RB broke within 3 months. I ordered the Scuf Impact and it arrived with the O button broken. And so i got my hands on one of these and its been a great controller. worth every penny.

    • @JeffZ1028
      @JeffZ1028 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The warranty for the Elite 2s is a standard one year... did you even try getting a replacement? Why didn't you get an extended warranty? Its totally worth it with really any product that is somewhat pricey, just in case.

    • @LewisYaBam
      @LewisYaBam 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JeffZ1028 Sorry, i forgot to mention i sent my Elite 2 back. When it got sent back the RB button began to fail again and also the left stick began to become temperamental. the click sometimes doesnt work.
      Just to be clear as well, I look after my controllers, i dont drop them. I keep them clean etc as i know some people will try and argue that.
      The warranty for the elite 2 was a year, i shouldnt think i need anymore for a controller, but they are built to break sadly.
      And i just asked for a straight up refund on the scuf because they feel cheap and a controller arriving broken says it all really. Especially given the amount of people that say they have had issues with them.
      (I do own a battle beaver, and have had no issues with that thus far)

    • @JeffZ1028
      @JeffZ1028 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LewisYaBam Yeah my Elite 1's bumpers both "broke" but was able to simply tape them in place until I got my money back before my warranty ran out. Same thing happened with a second Elite controller that a friend gave to me. Eventually I got an Elite 2 and have had it for about half a year with no problems this far but no doubt they've had issues as well.

    • @LewisYaBam
      @LewisYaBam 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JeffZ1028 I hope it doesnt break on you mate :) its gutting hearing stories from people who have spent so much on these controllers and they just keep breaking on people after a few months.

      @JeffZ1028 3 ปีที่แล้ว
