Put ground coffee into a hand burr grinder to save time and energy. Just grind it a little finer. I tried to show a few people how to use a Moka pot in Perth, but don't know how far I got. :)
That's a great idea! Whole bean is always fresher, but if you need it a little finer I can see that would be great to go from a french press grind, to something for a moka pot! Thanks for the suggestion Bob!
I love it. I actually saw a coffee grinder from Sudan which was about 500 years old. They'd grind it in a giant pestle and mortar and roast in a big metal spoon over a fire!
Burr grinding is anytime better because it draws out the real coffee taste and aroma. Just like garlic,,,you don't get the same result between sliced garlic and crushed garlic...
Very nice! This channel should be a gold standart! abraço from Portugal!
I truly appreciate your kind words! It means a lot to know the channel resonates with you. Abraço!
Good to see Lizzie back into videos. Volcanica for great coffee.
Turkish coffee is made from very fine grind like powder, thanks Lizzie
You're welcome

Whatever,,,,it all boils down to personal ways of doing things. Using a mortar and pestle is my primitive way of preparing and enjoying my coffee...
