With forms it’s a lot easier. Since it’s cured, you have time to mess with it until you get the desired shape. There’s still some practice needed, but not as much as trying to sculpt with forms.

I just bought one of amazon and i have never used one before and im broke so i decided eh lets give it a go! The one i bought was 50 dollars comes with 10 different poly gel tubes a light, brush, the special liquid, the spatula thingy, and the nail forms im excited to try it out!
I love love love this video! It actually gives the steps so perfectly so simple and without making it look devastatingly difficult because it's really not and they really do look beautiful and I love that the rubbing alcohol can be used for so much that's just great, big big thumbs up from me love this video!

Thanks for the video. I recently purchased this kit and was very happy about how easy it was to lengthen my nail without using a nail form or tip. Plus it is fairly easy to file. Will definitely be using it again.
i’m not a big fan of acrylic/false nails but this makes me want to try it! btw, you should do a polygel kit giveaway! (it would be helpful for people who can’t afford it)
I would advise not to try it. It is so incredibly damaging to your nails. But if you must try it and cannot get it out of your system until you do, by all means. This may be the only way to realize the damaging effects.

When I do it, it’s about 1/4 of one tube, depending on desired length. The tubes that come with this kit are trial sized, so they’re pretty small but they sell bigger tubes you can buy after you get used to using the polygel and decide what color you like the most.
Naomi Goddard thanks ! I wouldn’t do long nails like this because of work, they have to be short. So this could probably last a while. And could you paint them with gel if you wanted to ?
