Okaaaaay... but can I just add that polygel & dual forms do take a little practice... don't be too disheartened if you're not getting A1 results first time round. It is worth persevering with them, i've spent the lockdown year trying all kinds of nail techniques out- and even though I've got the knack of using actual gel tips & polygel when working ON my non-dominant hand, dual forms are a blessing when trying to work WITH my non-dom hand, because i'm totally useless with it tbh! Learning these little tricks is saving me a fortune now though, definitely worth trying out- but does require practice to perfect the art. Great vid though, really well explained.👍💯

Hi. I just subscribed. I order my polygel kit which will arrive today. I'm new to polygel and I would like to ask you does it make nails harder? Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thank you for sharing your video. You make it look so easy. ❤🌹
@@jayem2558 hi! Apologies for the delay on our response. We'd love to sort this out for you. Could you please send us your order number? We'll check the status of your order. Thank you.
Only thing with polygel is they get no apex, they are to flat and break therefor off very easy. I always find myself sit and build an apex afterwards.. lol
@Navjot Hari, yes you can, but you do need to buff the glassy finish off the polygel nails and wipe with alcohol cleanser to remove debris. Then follow the usual polish guide, base coat➡color (usually I use 2coats of color)➡topcoat. I prefer 'no wipe' topcoat, its easier.☺
When curing the nail in the machine you cure the top and do you need to cure underneath?. Do you need to use the little plastic clamp over nail before putting into machine?. If I want to put nail colour at end do I need to rough up the nail and use base coat again or not?. Thanks!
Hello there, when using polygel you need to cure only the top, as the underneath will also harden. The dual forms used are meant to stay on top of the nail until the nails are ready, after that all you need to do is pop them off and reuse them for your next manicure. Regarding applying color on your nails after finishing with the polygel application, we have a tutorial that will walk you through everything you need to know about that 👉 th-cam.com/video/NqUTwS5KOIM/w-d-xo.html
Hello! Polygel should be patted gently using a brush soaked in alcohol to create a length of the nail. Surface should be smooth, and should fill from one side of the dual form to the other, with most product concentration in the middle. Also, make sure to avoid creating air bubbles. Then it can be placed on the top of natural nail. We hope this helps :D
Hi Babe, you can easily clean the dual forms with a bit of alcohol or nail cleanser on a lift free pad. If the polygel is too hard to squeeze, try heating it up a bit before using it. Hope it helps 💗
Can you show swatches of all your poly gel color options that are not included in the pro kit? I’m interested in the soft pink but I would like to see the actual color before I purchase. Thanks
Hi! I am just a kid and I just wanted to try poly gel nails for a start I'm not experienced though and I have school soon so can I apply a peel of base coat sas a base coat for my polygel that I can take the poly gel off when I have school and just put it back on when I don't have school?
Hello CherrYBlossom!🥰 Our Rossi Magic Peel Base works best only for Dip and Gel manicures. We are absolutely grateful for your support, however, we highly recommend the use of our products only to those who are 18 years old or older.💕

You could try filing it underneath and on the top it might take practice but if its much too thick it might require a lot of filing if you do not have or want a electric nail drill, I've bought everything but the efile so I hope it goes well when I try for the first time and hope it goes well for you too
OMG I had no idea you needes a primer let alone the base & top coat 😩 I literally only ordered the polygels & the nail sculptures off Wish! Can someone please tell me if it's the same primer that you use for acrylics and if any base & top coat can be used? Thanks in advance
Kate, I haven’t done the Acrygel system yet I only do builder gels but I have a feeling it’s the Prep work is crucial at any system one does. I do a mini manicure like making sure the cuticles are not in the way of my new nail creation and I always use a bonder and primer even though some say it’s not necessary and biggest thing is make sure the product does not touch your sidewalls cause you’re going to have lifting. Product spills out to your sides of nails and if you don’t clean it up before it goes into machine you’re going to get 💯 lifting. Lastly cap your edges when putting nail polish only after Acrygel.
I use this method but there’s always 2-3 nails that i re-do several times because they get a crack along my nail tip and they get separated, any advice?
You can purchase polygel and dual forms from Maskscara in South Africa. I am a nail tech in Cape Town and that is what I use on clients and myself. It is called Infinity Gel
i didnt get primer with my kit why????????????????????what do i do now???? i tried to email rossi and the reply was just use a primer that is sold in my area! what the heck!!
Hi Ana! We highly recommend not skipping the Base Coat for the Rossi Nail Gel application. This ensures the proper adhesion of the Rossi Nail Gel on your nails.🙂
Hi all. Please can someone help me. I've done these it came out quiet nice for the first try. I had two issues I got a lot of product build up underneath and it kept breaking off by the 3rd day all were broken. It snaps Just pass my own nails. Any advice :)
Hi Sadyna! After pressing down the Dual form with the Nail Gel on your nail, make sure to flip your hand around to smooth out the underside of your nails using a brush and 70% alcohol. This should prevent product buildup from underneath your nails. To avoid breakage, ensure that the application of the product is thin at the Cuticle Area, thick in the middle(apex of the nail) and even thinner at the tips. Hope this helps!😉
Hi Yvonne! Yes, the Nail Gel Base coat ensures that all succeeding products applied adheres properly to the nails, thus, it's consistency is a bit sticky or tacky.
Hello T! Although the Base Coat and Primer both make the mani last longer on the nails, we still recommend for you not to skip the Base Coat for the Rossi Nail Gel Application. The Rossi Nail Gel Primer leaves a sticky residue on the nails to make the Nail Gel adhere better to the nail plates, while the Rossi Base Coat not only makes sure that the mani last longer by providing a proper foundation for the succeeding products to adhere to, it also prevents staining and gives a protective coating for a stronger and healthier nails.😊
