It seems really easy, it takes a good amount of patience to do them. Because of layers and if you miss a step you could mess up. Get hella lifting. I've been practicing following her technique I still dont got it down and I have been practicing since may june.
It isn’t as easy as it looks! It takes a bit of time to get used to it, especially if you have gaps or ridges or uneven nails lol, and thickness is a bit difficult to get perfect the first time
I tried to find a way to contact Evie to let her know a company that sells polygel is using her work to promote themselves . I saw an ad for PearlBeauty and they had her work from when she reviewed modelones polygel for the first (or 2nd time) when she did her milk bath nails and they used her images to promote their polygel . I just got my gel polish kit from Beetles and I LOVE this nail lamp!!!! I like the fact that it "learns" your timing so all you have to do is set it a couple of times and then everytime you put your hand in, it automatically sets for which ever time you have used the last few times. Thank you... my mom and sisters tried poly gel and when I told them I ordered a set, they gave me negative reviews, saying it didn't work... but I decided to try it myself and get my personal assessment of the products and I loved them. I'm not a nail person and I don't like acrylic so I was ao happy and proud when I did it myself and they looked beautiful!! I had one air bubble and a couple of side areas that weren't covered but I was so glad she went thru on how to fix those areas.... Now is the chore and shower test to see how long these will last (dishes and shower).. but I figured even if they don't last long, these are beautiful and financially perfect for special evening/events... thank you for your video... it helped me so much... **** disclaimer, I am on my husband's you tube account, this is a woman's review of the product, not a man ***

I remember when do it yourself gel nail kits came out during the pandemic and buying it cuz we couldn’t go to salons! Omg, had such a hard time! Eventually they ruined my nails and took such a long time to finally look “normal” again. When I was trying to remove them soon after messing them up a few days later, it was so hard to take them off!!! It’s probably how my natural nail got busted due to what I did to remove them. Anyways, I ended up throwing everything out cuz I started losing pieces or spilled the slip solution or whatever. It would also get messy pretty quick. Never did it again! But now I feel like giving it another go cuz I’m definitely not going to the salons these days and it’s sooooo expensive!!! Last time I went a couple months back, what was considered a standard mani/pedi for me ended up costing $110 or $130 max when typically before the pandemic, it was at the very most $90. I thought that prices would go down as everyone started going back to the salon as their reasoning for upcharging was due to loss of business during the pandemic. Which I understood but those prices never went back down. Screw that! So I came back to using fake news with Glamnetic brush on glue. The Glamnetic nails are nice but pricey and the colors aren’t very inclusive. So the trick is to find individual sets on Amazon that range from $3.99-$9.99 or so and then buy the Glamnetic glue for about $8. Cuz if u buy those big kits of fake nails with 100 colors or whatever, they’re super thin and WILL NOT LAST! The individual sets are better, thicker and are better. But now watching these types of videos, makes me want to consider doing gel kits again. So I’ll keep watching and then maybe at some point I’ll buy the most recommended kit with the lamp. Hehehe
I'm a guy, doing nails to me means clipping them to the right length and making sure I don't have grease or dirt under them from working on my car. I bought one of these kits from Amazon for my daughter. This was a very helpful video and, I have to admit, interesting. I'm glad I'm not female as I wouldn't have the patience to do this but do admit the end result looks good.

i saw this and was like "this'll definitely be way too expensive for my broke self" but $56 isnt bad at all for everything there.

Thank you... my mom and sisters tried poly gel and when I told them I ordered a set, they gave me negative reviews, saying it didn't work... but I decided to try it myself and get my personal assessment of the products and I loved them. I'm not a nail person and I don't like acrylic so I was ao happy and proud when I did it myself and they looked beautiful!! I had one air bubble and a couple of side areas that weren't covered but I was so glad she went thru on how to fix those areas....
Now is the chore and shower test to see how long these will last (dishes and shower).. but I figured even if they don't last long, these are beautiful and financially perfect for special evening/events... thank you for your video... it helped me so much...

I remember when do it yourself gel nail kits came out during the pandemic and buying it cuz we couldn’t go to salons! Omg, had such a hard time! Eventually they ruined my nails and took such a long time to finally look “normal” again. When I was trying to remove them soon after messing them up a few days later, it was so hard to take them off!!! It’s probably how my natural nail got busted due to what I did to remove them. Anyways, I ended up throwing everything out cuz I started losing pieces or spilled the slip solution or whatever. It would also get messy pretty quick. Never did it again! But now I feel like giving it another go cuz I’m definitely not going to the salons these days and it’s sooooo expensive!!! Last time I went a couple months back, what was considered a standard mani/pedi for me ended up costing $110 or $130 max when typically before the pandemic, it was at the very most $90. I thought that prices would go down as everyone started going back to the salon as their reasoning for upcharging was due to loss of business during the pandemic. Which I understood but those prices never went back down. Screw that! So I came back to using fake news with Glamnetic brush on glue. The Glamnetic nails are nice but pricey and the colors aren’t very inclusive. So the trick is to find individual sets on Amazon that range from $3.99-$9.99 or so and then buy the Glamnetic glue for about $8. Cuz if u buy those big kits of fake nails with 100 colors or whatever, they’re super thin and WILL NOT LAST! The individual sets are better, thicker and are better. But now watching these types of videos, makes me want to consider doing gel kits again. So I’ll keep watching and then maybe at some point I’ll buy the most recommended kit with the lamp. Hehehe

I'm a guy, doing nails to me means clipping them to the right length and making sure I don't have grease or dirt under them from working on my car. I bought one of these kits from Amazon for my daughter. This was a very helpful video and, I have to admit, interesting. I'm glad I'm not female as I wouldn't have the patience to do this but do admit the end result looks good.
