My brother, whenever I am sick I would stop painting until I feel better... You have just showed me a cold should not be a reason to procrastinate. Beautiful painting and explanation. Greetings from the Caribbean
Amazing work Daniel! I remember doing many art exercises with copying a real life object right next to me and then looking at the specific light and shadows. It definitely helps give out a perspective rather than photos sometimes. Take ur time and make u rest up, hope u get better soon :)
I've seen a lot of your videos. All your work is incredibly beautiful!💙 Whatever you do will be a work of art. It's fun to watch and learn! 🧡Thank you and Congratulations!💜
I am so glad that I hit the subscribe button of your channel , your painting taught me a lot and turned out my understanding to a new level. THANKYOU very much!
I love this one! The fantastic edge work really made the 3D show. I have recently started playing with oils more after several years of acrylics and am finding them easier in several ways. I appreciate the forgiveness of both, lol.
New subscriber +1😊 Im so glad to have found a great teacher❤ Im starting and want to learn painting here.been buying some acrylics and brushes over the last few weeks....🎉 Even though the budget is tough😂 Love your vids and paints..... Fan here
Awesome work :) really enjoyed hearing your thought process throughout the video. I've been frightened to try oils because i like to work quickly but, you've inspired me to try again 😀
Love what you did with the background in the end. And it's cool to watch you venture into oil painting land. Not that I know anything about it, I still paint in acrylics, but once I'm ready to go on my own oil journey, I have a bunch of videos to pull inspiration and education from. Question: can you do a video on how to transfer a drawing with the use of carbon paper or tracing paper or what have you? I've never done that, I always just sketch on my canvas.
It is funny as what you said about oils and acrylics and what your comfortable doing in each is the exact opposite for me. I find with acrylics, I need to get the lines down correctly and with oils, I can be more relaxed with it. I am not perfect with either, but I definitely understand oils much more and prefer them over the two. But that's just my experience, I have concentrated much more heavily on oils than acrylics, but in saying that, I am working on a huge piece for me in acrylics which is definitely upping my acrylic game and I am filling in those gaps. Anyway your work is always truly beautiful and inspiring.
I am truly blown away with your talent.. you are truly amazing! I have been wanting to try oils but not sure if the smells would be to much .. what would you recommend that I try.. is there anything that doesn’t have to much of an odor.. is it the cleaning that causes the odors or do the oils also.. Sorry as you can see I am new to oils and have absolutely no idea lol
You don’t require black painted canvas to transfer your paper drawing. White canvas works fine. animals & birds requires details but not require precision that demand by human portraits so, you can draw free hand with some freedom. Oil paint give more control & produce gloss finish that can’t be achieved with acrylics
Brother I really really love art like it's taken me to magical places when I was in hell, it's my happiness my hobbies my life is ment to have art, I'm scared to paint I draw or makeup brush and charcoal I could send you a couple if there's a contact....but I'm here today to ask you for help if there's anyway I could get tips without videos, I find it easier to understand I'm currently painting a lion I would like to show you where I'm at and if someway have you help me, I appreciate you even if you can't and I love your art it brings me happiness, so thank you very and if I can send a phone number something like WhatsApp to facetime to show my art, sorry for the long msg and to ask so much of you but my nan would always say don't ask dont get😂😂 I don't have much but I'd pay just for a conversation about understanding paint more and stuff I could write down myself, God bless you sir

Lovely painting.
But spoilsport, I thought you were going to draw with those twigs.
Haha maybe I’ll try that with my next painting 😂
