Infant Vital Signs Pediatric Nursing Assessment Newborn NCLEX Review

- Infant (newborn) vital signs assessment for pediatric nurses, nursing students, and NCLEX review. In this video, Nurse Sarah demonstrates how to assess newborns or infants for vital signs.
The following infant vital signs are assessed and demonstrated, along with the normal values for each measurement:
-Infant respiratory rate assessment
-Infant heart rate assessment
-Infant temperature assessment
-Infant weight assessment
-Infant length assessment
-Infant head circumference assessment
-Infant chest circumference assessment
Assessing newborns / infants can be tricky as a nurse, because they can become fussy or upset very easily. However, it is important to check these vital signs, as they can help us gauge the newborn's growth, development, and overall health.

every time i watched this kind of video, I'm inspired to pursue nursing. i really do but at some point I'm terrified beacuse the expenses and the lessons, like i'm scared and excited at the same time, kind of pressuring me of what's gonna happen when i shift my course next year to nursing

Go to community college! Not private. It takes longer with a community or regular cal state. Private schools are overpriced.
