Moro/Startle Reflex will help baby let go if they are pulling their own hair! Lay baby down, support the neck and then drop your hand suddenly. Baby is still supported but they do the startle reflex and baby's hands will open!
Hi there Sarah! congratulations to you and thank you for your all video that you made! it's very current and informative. I admit im not fun of reading thick books so I prepared my Nclex RN exam and I passed! oh by the way my friend told me about yours, she told me watch registerednursern the lecture are super cool and you made it easy to understand.
I don’t remember the step reflex disappearing in my own children.:. However I do remember it not be present in my friends child that has hypertonicity… wondering if this particular-reflex can be absent and an early warning sign of cerebral palsy. I just remembering noticing it wasn’t there and now my friends baby is feeling more & more stiff especially her legs and spine very rigid and her hand & arms seem to have awkward movements.
My daughter won't do the rooting, crawling, step, and fencing reflex. Is this concerning or some babies just don't do them all? They already did a brain ultrasound because they were concerned with legs not moving as much as they should and thankfully that came back normal, we are waiting on a call for a hip ultrasound. Should I be asking the doctor about these reflexes or its common some babies don't have them?
God is so great, the way he treated us is so amazing 😊
