For someone whose daughter has vanished, she seems to be happy and chatty.

I know, she’s pretty much controlling the narrative she’s a fantastic psychopath. Much better than Paul Bernardo if you’ve seen that. She has zero fear even when she was in jail according to the people that were in jail with her she never cried once. She was up for the death penalty and she treated jail as if it was like a day at the mall. I know Casey, not well but looking back on it I’ve only seen her in one mood the four or five times that I met her… Always a cheerful mood. Apparently she was cheerful in jail as well and everything worked out. Because she showed no fear whatsoever it appeared that she just couldn’t be guilty to the jury. She showed zero fear in the court room.

This isn't meaningless chit chat to the Detective, he is keeping her talking long after she has asked for an attorney....if she says something that incriminates herself or locks herself into a timeline or an alibi - it is on tape and later she will have to deal with it if it is contradicted down the road by her or by evidence. While it appears the Detectives are being very accomodating, that is all part of the psychology to get her to let her guard down and view them as helpful and this being just idle talk. If you notice Casey is doing a pretty good job trying to manipulate the Detective herself, very early on contradicting what he says tryihng to establish herself as the one in control - She is a true narcissist and I'm sure has manipulated people her entire life....especially men.
Especially noticeable is her saying she knows her daughter is alive ....even if they have a bucket load of evidence downstairs saying otherwise....or if it's just speculation.....her attempt to 1. find out if they will let out what they do have or don't have 2. Attempt to put her "motherly instincts" ahead of hard facts and show her to be emotionally attached to her child and therefore could never harm her.
If you watch this with the concept that this is all a power struggle underneath all of the surface bs.....it is really a chess match mascarading as checkers.

20:38 CA says she knows that Caylee is still alive, she feels her presence. Guess she was confident at the time of the interview Caylee would not be found. 🤔

People come back into the room at 58:45. If you enjoy watching people clean their glasses, and pick at and bite their nails, you're gonna love everything after 23:50 till then. Enjoy *chef's kiss*

Ugh just her fake chatty bs and her constant smiling/laughing makes me so sick. I’ve watched so many cases and this one is my top “ I HATE, NO JUSTICE IN A CHILD’S MURDER…(BY HER OWN MOTHER)” How the hell do those jurors, judge, and her attorney’s freakin sleep at night anyone that was on Casey’s side and the jurors…remember you will all have your judgment day come!

What a psychopath. She’s so detached from emotion and conscience, she literally has zero clue how normal people with actual feelings would react in a situation like this.

What an absolute waste of time 😮
      WHAT interrogation?
1 hour and 5 minutes of rubbish.
First, we had something akin to an afternoon tea party. All that was missing was the teapot, china cups, and saucers, a stand with cake and sandwiches! People laughing and joking, including a woman whose little daughter is missing, though you wouldn't think it so. And the same attitude from the police. I understand that suspects have to feel relaxed.
In my opinion, everyone was a little too relaxed. Casey picking her nails, pulling up her socks, adjusting her attire multiple times, them fluffing out her hair. Eventually, her lawyer turns up and bang! There goes 65 minutes of my life for absolutely nothing at all.
Most of us know from her trial what she is like. So, a five minute precis at the start of the 2nd part of this interrogation would have sufficed.
OR a note to this video saying, actually, there is no interrogation. If you want to, go to part 2 of her interrogation.
Thar would have been extremely helpful.
That said, how this woman, who it's obvious here, doesn't give 2 straws about her daughter, was found not guilty, is beyond my comprehension.
She waited a month to report the little one missing. In the meantime, she was out gladragging and socialising as if nothing was amiss.
The law is an ass, and American justice a hippopotamus neck deep in muddy waters.
      The UK has introduced double
jeopardy. Is the same active in the USA?

Omg was your mom really upset that she was on camera? How about be upset that your granddaughter was killed by someone close to you. That's something to be upset about. Why avoid the cameras? What's there to hide?

Do the cops not noticed the lack of concern she has. Zero worry or saddness. 3yr old is out there lost or so she told everyone at first.

Classic good cop, pushing for information cop. The first guy was successful in seeing that she dropped her guard so that they could see her real self. She was calm as a cucumber. I would be freaking out asking what they are doing to find her child....She is less relaxed with the second guy, her upper body closed off more and clasping her hands. No random chit chat to the level of the first guy with the second cop versus the first one. This feels like a frikin job interview or something. Girl cannot sit still either, Lady Macbeth with the hands and nail attention whatever she is doing there...

Dude! I’d literally be freaking out in so many ways; crying, screaming, getting help to find my baby😱🤯
I’m a survivor of many forms of abuse and I know a “freeze” or “fight” and even “fawn”….This is none of that😱👀👀 She is off her rocker👍 Probably born that way! Her dad does seem creepy but how Casey sets him up in new Peacock documentary is crazy, she’s like a Ted Bundy loving the attention too🤢

She's doing all she can to act innocent. The problem here, is that she's guilty. So her innocent act is focused on being nonchalant and in control. If I lost my child I would lose my mind. Completely lose my mind. But if I was arrested for it and was innocent, I would be losing it completely in an interrogation. wtf.

  • @mog882

She’s the best. I’m not exactly sure what she’s “the best,“ at but she is the best. She gave them nothing, those cops tried everything and she spoke and spoke but have absolutely not one word of substance given to them. Nothing. She knew exactly what she was doing with savviness that only criminals who are not in jail have. I know that she did not purposely killed a child though I am certain she knew the child was dead and just didn’t feel that she needed to make some sort of active contrition by calling 911. She figured that what was done is done and that she should move on but that was a miscalculation on her part. As a true psychopath she lives for the moment and there’s always the moments we’re good she figured the future would work out, I live this way myself and it’s always worked.

also the ability to make stuff up on the fly and add in details to make it sound more realistic. That said she does have a 'tell' and that is when offered an 'out' or explanation from the cops she just goes with whatever the last choice they said and just repeats it back to them. How they didn't just call her on her BS and keep asking details that result in more lies is beyond me.

Doubtful. Clearly no thought went in to hiding her body. More thought went in to making sure she didn't survive, than what went in to hiding her body
