I have no idea how these comments are slipping by... this one is two weeks old and I respond as quickly as I can. Yes, you can add coolant to most machines. BUT contact your manufacturer as you have a warranty on most tubes and you do not want to invalidate that.
I am mostly interested in cutting and engraving hardwoods, not necessarily plywood’s. Will this laser cut hardwoods, and if so, how thick? Also, would like to use it to make very fine and accurate cuts in fabric. Is this possible with the Aeon Mira 7?
First I apologize for not responding soon. Sometimes a comment does not show up in TH-cam for a little while. Fast answer to the question. Depends on the thickness of the wood. Also you may want to consider there could be a minor bonding issue with wood glue, you may want to sand the edge before glueing.
George may I ask something? I'm planning to buy a Mira 7 also but it does have a lasertube from SPT (90 Watt) Could you advice me if SPT is a good choice from the seller? And may I ask which tube you have in your Mira 7. Thanks in advance George.
I an not positive of the brand of the laser tube. I would call Aeon and ask them. I know that some of the tubes are better from on manufacturer than another. Meaning one manufacture makes a 100 watt tube that is a little better than say the 80 watt tube they make. To me this is about the warranty on the tube and that would be where I put my reliance on quality. I believe that Aeon has the best warranty in the market place but that is an opinion. Call and take to the sales staff, they will want you to get the right laser for your plans.
Is there a link to the coolant changing video? My Myra 7 is due for a change yet mine does not flow as freely as yours seems too. I would be very interested in seeing your video.
Sorry been on vacation, but I bet if you open the filler at the top first and then drain at the bottom. you will get and increased flow. I sure love my Mira!
@@GeorgeKennerLaser I will give that a try. I do not remember if I tried that last time. I see people removing the sealed tubes off the laser tube to get the air flowing. I do not want to handle the tube if possible. Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated. I love my Myra 7 as well.
I am happy with the Mira 7, but the 9 has a stronger tube and will cut more. For what I was going to use it for the 7 was good. I have worked on the principle of getting the best for the money, could I have got a 9 yes, but then I could have got a Nova also. I strong suggest talking to sales about the best tool for the job. They told me what I needed for the job I described and its not let me down. Cheers you will love your laser.
You should come into laser freedom and share you opinions. Opinions are based on facts and I have facts that support my opinions. Cheers, thanks for watching the video.

Another comment/question. Can you add antifreeze to the coolant when operating in cold, winter weather?

Do you wish you would have gotten the Mira 9?

@@GeorgeKennerLaser Good call. There's no need to overspend for a larger or more powerful machine than you need.
Now don’t lie to me! First and foremost, is it really your opinion? Okay, okay.
