- See the test results including speed and smoke removal from the laser bed on the Thunder Nova 24 and the Aeon Mira 7. This will show you the difference in the machines ease of set up and overall commercial viability.

Connie don't tell me that..... I am so wanting a Aeon NOVA....lol.. but I only do the HOBBY thing.. I don't sell anything. I am trying not to spend the inheritance... Oh well... only live once... Going to visit friend in Florida in Mid July maybe I end up at Aeon.. just saying.

With respect, I think your commentary has some shortcomings. The urban sprawl of the exterior parts outside the Nova is a fact, but so is the ability to pick up the compressor and change it, similarly swapping the chiller. I was told by Aeons CEO himself that the passive cooling in the Mira is limited and I have seen commercial shops have to take the internal cooler out and run in external cooling, similarly, others have had to swap the weak extraction system. You really had a shortcoming in not revealing the detailed pricing; the Thunder ships for free, but when I got a quote for that $7995 Mira 7 it came out at $9,074.68 shipped to my door, that's way to much for a 60W laser, I can get a 130W laser up in the 10k price range. The Z depth on the Mira is also a massive limitation, so is the focusing system. Pluses on the Mira, I cannot fault their current marketing scheme and apparent customer engagement. I feel like Thunder is there for you and has responsive support, but don't seem to have an army of people being thrown at pandering you like Aeon. Trolling the Nova FB Support group I saw way more unhappy customers than in Thunders FB community. I would encourage you to go and talk to the lady from Pate Ranch about her experiences running a business at scale with Aeon and Thunder and watch her video comparing the larger models in a working environment. I have the Nova 24, if you want me to do a non-bias real life quoted price and spec comparison or set of material tests with you I'd be happy to. Very much enjoying your channel, thank you once again for sharing.

Your OPINIONS are not supported by a trip to review all of the machines. I feel if you had done that you would feel differently. I did not put all the negatives of the Thunder Nova into this video and there were many more, trust me. The SPEED issue is REAL as is Maximum Speed on the machines. I WILL NOTE... you have stated you have /own the Nova 24 so agreeing with my conclusion that the Aeon is the best will of course be contrary to the decision to mad to spend thousands on the Thunder Nova 24. I SAY CLEARLY do not "TRUST ME" go see for yourself.

Honestly I am not an Affiliate / Partner, everything I have done I paid for, airfare, hotels and full price for my laser. What I have found is that the "partners" are more like friends that share with each others and are building nice businesses. People follow people and if they see what your using and its good they will follow. Me, I am a little more cautious. I want to see things work. The Head Size in my opinion creates more speed and thus a faster machine. That is going to rock some people, but the video is right there and people can take their own files and test them. Who else buys all the machines, puts them in one place so you can test them... NO ONE!. Just today (first 4 hours of this video) 3 Aeon partners reached out to me asking me to join. They are wearing me down.

I have hear that Aeon LASER US is by far the best of the worldwide distributors. They seem to set the standard for the entire industry in customer service.

The plug and play is definitely a commodity that people would appreciate. I for one like to keep these systems seperate like in the thunder, because who knows when one of those crucial peices fail? And they will, eventually. I do agree with you with the head design, I wish it was lighter on the thunder. I have operated a Gravograph laser and that head was incredibly small.
Each one of the system in the Mira are what I would call "component" pieces. If you remove the chiller it slides right out. It would be and easy fix. But you hit the big point the size of the head. Smaller head faster machine. I am about to do a 6 month review on my machines. Thank you for the thoughtful comment , I have more videos on this I am in the process of shooting right now. CHEERS BRO!
@@GeorgeKennerLaser That is very interesting. I'd really be interested in a video demonstrating this. I'll have to check out Aeon's manuals to see how that all works. If the parts are readily replaceable I will definitely be adding the Nova10 to my wish list. Thanks! I should also add my #1 reason for going with the Thunder was their upfront support with using antifreeze in their lasers with full warranty support was paramount as I live in a cold climate in an unheated shop.
@@jakelotter9130 That is so funny... meaning the antifreeze. I wish I could post a picture here as Aeon also charges the machines with antifreeze. And as for SUPPPORT, Aeon will send someone to your house if the machine brakes down in the warranty period and the machine can not be fixed with standard support. I strongly suggest a visit to the Aeon Experience. Many of the competitors machines are their to compare. If you go look in my Facebook group Laser Freedom I will post a picture of the antifreeze pump at Aeon.

On average, how long of a waiting process can a person expect from purchasing to actually receiving the Aeon lasers.
Mine was a few months but I have heard less from some people. The Backlog that existed in all laser companies seems to have softened. The model you want could have a bearing. If you want an Aeon write to sales, they are very friendly... NO PRESSURE type guys.

Do they have any generic Chinese machines there?
As you call them "generic" like the red or blue from Amazon , they did not have any of those when I visited.

No you do not have to used Wifi on on a Mira it has a USB connection also. But the Wifi is very easy to use, and very easy to set up. thank you for the question.
