    I love traveling by train. Sitting for hours and watching the scenery go by is so peaceful and the rocking motion is relaxing

      I agree. We didn't get to see a lot of scenery this time as we travelled during the night.

    Be advised if you want 1st class you need to book it almost month out (cause they sold out real fast)

    I take the train frequently between Bangkok and Chiangmai. Frequently meaning arriving to Bangkok from the U.S. and heading to Chiangmai with 2 suitcases and a carryon to my house just outside of Chiangmai. Sometimes if I’m in a hurry, I take my suitcases to the Bangkok train station and ship them for around 300 baht and then fly to Chiangmai and pick up the suitcases the following day. I can’t sleep on the train because of the noise and the rough ride from the tracks but the views during the daytime are great.

      I know what you mean about the noise. It woke me up quite a few times.

    Great video, thanks for sharing all of the features! If you don’t mind I’ve got a question. At the end of the video, when the beds were made up, I could hear a baby crying a couple of times. I think the door was closed, so did sound really travel that easily through the walls? Did it affect your sleep?

    Hi Jerry what Airlines are good to fly internally as we're want to go to Chaing Mai first when we arrive from Australia so we will have to stop in Bangkok and from Chaing Mai to Phuket if there is a straight flight ✈️ to Phuket or we'll have to stop in Bangkok and Fly to Phuket please 🙏 🤔

    • @AlwaysonaJourney
      @AlwaysonaJourney  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, Tiger & Gooner.. Thanks for your comments. There are direct flights from Chiang Mai to Phuket. From my experience Vietjet is the cheapest option but unreliable. AirAsia is a budget airline with moderate prices always on time and the last one is Bangkok airways which is full service. Sometimes the price when compared to AirAsia are quite similar. Jerry.

    I was thinking that, the sleeper train should make one for tall people. Especially the beds. The beds should be at least 7 ft in length for when 7 ft people come to sleeper train 🚆.
