Correction its shown on Quest television and drew has never been at the BBC, i think you should get your info correct and do a little more research before posting it.

The other woman dumped him after he smirked at her husband in a pub in Conwy and the husband hit Drew once and knocked him out. Drew was also hounding her with text messages calling her husband a coward after she ended with him lol.

Never met him but all the people i know who have met him says he is an know it all knob .
Typical pub bore. I used to shout in frustration watching him rip off naive sellers, but now I just think more fool them for not checking values of their stuff before he turned up acting generous Mr bountiful.

I love the way he pontificates about preserving our British heritage then promptly flogs the articles to America. I know all dealers are the same conning the naive to make profit, but he's a particularly slimy slug with his pot belly, dead cods piggy eyes and manky little teeth. Women must be attracted to £££. Buying something for £50 and selling it back at your place for £400 is NOT working hard. Working 40 hrs in a factory a week is working hard for £400.
God what a nonsense, all these people whining about this man doing his job. ''Screwing" people? These people are mostly other dealers, they are not forced to sell their stuff. And if they sell too cheaply it is largely that or they do not know their business or they do not have the clients for it. Furthermore it gives them free publicity for their shops... and when I see their grand houses or warehouses filled with antiques I do not pity them.
I do not know Drew, and perhaps he's not a nice man. ''His wife divorced him!'' But she continued to work with him as I recall...
He has to go hunting most days, to pay the truck, hotels, warehouse, people working for him (salaries!) whatever. All these comments of 9 to 5 people (with 28 vacation days etc.) do not know what strain that can give you. OK he's done quite well for himself (perhaps most of his money comes from doing tv/video work, who knows). It is his hard work, energy, knowledge and willingness to take risks that got him where he is now.
I get really tired from comments of people that do not know s..t about doing (antique)business...

His dad was into this scene as well as being a sign writer. He was into restoring old cars, bikes, all of it... He is not from some struggling family as I was. Far from it. He was pretty spoilt. Which turned him into the brat he is today. Recently he slandered me in a book he's written. Wait till I catch hold of the little b*****d

Nobody seems to get the truth about this guy. His shop/outlet at Liberty's failed. His shop in Conwy failed, He Put all his "bad buys" into Dreweatts Auctions on March 5-6 2024 to pay off his debts of the " fat end" of almost a Million. He pretends it's all his own " Personal Collection" But it's all the stock and mistakes he's overpaid for and can't sell. Imagine how well he might have done if he had a BIT of an ego. ha!!
