What Drew's work is, is acquiring the knowledge that makes him absolutely expert in his field. His talent is exceptional keenness of eye. Once you've achieved that status, you can go out and have fun, too.
I'm not jeaulous of many things but I am in envy of Drew and what he does. But it is so well deserved though, coming from decades of dedication to the trade and love for the craftmanship.
That first room is amazing and I love the pictures with the arrow holes in them. I have to say many of these homes have too much stuff and a little clear out would help aesthetically and financially.
I vaguely remember my grandfather's chair with carved Lions Heads on the hand rests. My father said, someone must have told you that story, because I was only 2 or 3 years old. I remember it to this day.
I'm going to make my way to Scotland next year, my great great came to America in1862, through Canada. He lost his wife, and put my great grandfather in the charge of his brother in law in Indiana. Great, great returned, and found his way to Parsons Kansas. Well, it's weird family situataion, eventually, we all ended up here in the Pacific northwest. Ha det Bra, Takk
I wonder what the winter heating costs in these palatial country houses. Last time I lived in England, in Hampstead, my electricity bill in winter was astronomical. In a relatively modest flat.
When programs like this appear they always have a detrimental affect on the trade ..the general public who watch this program get a poseption that everything thats old or looks old is worth far more than it actually is based on the what this guy is buying and selling for and its far from reality. It drives buying prices up for the dealers and trying to make any or little profit very difficult because access to the places he picks from doesn't happen in real life unless a TV production team is present and who gets that no one...anyone who is thinking of making a decent living out of this game should do there home work before they commit belive me a lot of doors have to be opened and meny years of graft have to be done if you want to survive.
I agree but under the job descriptor of 'Dealer' he's spot on - and sometimes he pays over the odds. But hey he has a great business, a lovely wife, a super little dog and a great business!
when I see Drew I always remember the story about 3 antique dealers washed up on a desert island with a single wooden chair and all 3 make a decent living.
Contradicting info again. Drew says the wing chair is 19th c imitating early 18th style, and then the narrator says it’s lat3 18th c. Make up your minds and be consistent!
Drew, this so cool, is this an old rock and roller? This is so boss hog! Are you kidding me. Who is this cat you're visiting, he one of the gentry? COOL! The narrator, he sounds like Jeremy Irons, the great actor, is that true? I recognize the voice, who the heck is he. Let me know.
I am an antique dealer and a designer, you pay way to much .We could never get the prices you are paying. Please come to America you can do much better 🙂
ja so geht das - am anfang was draufgelegt und einen zufriedenen verkäufer und am ende mehr und mehr dinge für einen guten für beide seiten fairen preis - so verhält man sich und macht geschäfte
It doesnt mean it will sell for 7k, thats the maximum potential if he restores and reupholsters it in a fabric that will likely cost upwards of 2k for the fabric alone. You dont upholster antiques in shit fabric...
the owner seems like a good chap! as always, drew does pick out some interesting pieces.
The most precious thing in the house is the owner
Well said ..i really enjoyed this one.
👎
Wasn't he lovely?
I’ve worked in the village for 5 years now , all good people round here :)
I loved how much he enjoyed telling of, in his youth, his shooting arrows through the portraits of his ancestors.

I love watching savage hunters it's fab you learn lots and it's like you are there with them on many journeys. Fantastic.
The owner of the estate is a real English Gentleman.
I'm not jeaulous of many things but I am in envy of Drew and what he does. But it is so well deserved though, coming from decades of dedication to the trade and love for the craftmanship.
The Lord of the Manor is exceptional - and we always love Drew and Tee!
Whatever you do, never get rid of 'tee'. There is just something special about him. I really like all of your crew, but I cant do with out the.
Nice video!!! All he picked I like, also beautiful home and a nice person!!! Hope his mother is well!!!
That first room is amazing and I love the pictures with the arrow holes in them. I have to say many of these homes have too much stuff and a little clear out would help aesthetically and financially.
What an amazing home!! Drew you look great in the blue jacket and black hat. Much improved!!
I vaguely remember my grandfather's chair with carved Lions Heads on the hand rests. My father said, someone must have told you that story, because I was only 2 or 3 years old. I remember it to this day.
Oh wow. I want more videos of that house. It's absolutely mind blowing 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤

Ha det Bra, Takk
It’s good to see someone who invites Drew to buy something and actually sells something to him.
I recall the owner has a gardener called Ted... I'm sure he was sorting the drainage out in the lower field ....
This house was fantastic!! Love to see the inside of the big homes..too bad there's not More for sale.m
There are plenty apparently but the upkeep costs are not feasible, you need to budget a thousand dollars a day on average.
Thank you Drew for allowing us to see those amazing houses. Really impressive.

Wow - the owner is great! I was convinced I was hearing James Blunt talk the whole time :)

"there home work" The comment would be so improved if you had written "there" as "their".
Shite hawk... “poseption”???? Do you possibly mean “perception”?
Oh can I visit that house please? It's so stunning! Promise I won't bring any arrows 😁
A very beautiful presentation..Thank you very much.
Drew does take advantage sometimes, and sometimes he is fair.

That’s a small cage! More suited to a budgie not a parrot
JUST CUS HE HAS THE KNOWLEDGE HE STILL SHOULD PAY A REASONABLE PRICE ...
handsome guy and charizmatic- could be an actor

Certainly not Jeremy Irons!
Lived in village for 40 plus years knowing Jamie and his family
Inspiration in decorating.
Expectacular!!!! 🎊
Drew met a Lordy guy and got a parrot named after him
doing a job you really love is not a job it's fun and exciting and stress-free
Какая красивая мебель! Вот какую красоту могут сотворить человеческие руки! Интересно, сейчас есть такие мастера???!
I have got to say...what is up with Tee's hair?
I’d be interested in knowing how Drew dated the Irish table?
Love this
Poor "T" always looks so poorly !!
so scruffy
@@jctrewin He´s actually got his own totally different business. Something digital-
whats t acutally do?
A parrot in that cage? That animal cruelty. It is no way big enough for a parrot.
I am an antique dealer and a designer, you pay way to much .We could never get the prices you are paying. Please come to America you can do much better 🙂
entire house speak....
He who has no past, has no future.
Lo que no entiendo es que si Drew está divorciado de Rebeca, porque lleva la alianza????
Por que el divorcio vino mucho despues de este episodio. De todas formas, siguen trabajando juntos.
Small man...ginger...and mean with his money....what more could you want...?
He would want to buy all of it for £100 lol he has restoration costs and have to make a profit
Tee, you look much better with short hair, we can’t see your lovely eyes behind that coiff
When buying I find his offers quite insulting to the seller 80%of the time.
Totally fcking bonkers
BHE NN CI SONO PAROLE .
Mr magoo
I bet the tax payer is paying for that house!
7 thousand and drew offers 3 what a rip off

typical response of not knowing how taxes work, repairs, restoration and paying employees to sell to make 1k at end of it all.
Not sure how he managed it, but T looks even more scruffy and disheveled than ever. Wear pants and get a forking hair cut! OMG.....
