Agreed, the items that attract you like magnets. The ones that delight you every time you see them. The tactile, the colours, the heft of pottery, the glow of a good lamp.
Explains it perfectly and succinctly. Those of us "collectors" need to do this but it's so difficult as "we" ascribe personalities and histories to these objects and they become loved. I hope one day to hear the voice within that says, "It's time.". I admire Mr. Pritchard.
Ein Wunderschönes Zuhause, eine Fantastische Antiquitäten Sammlung wo sehr viel Herzlichkeit und sehr viel Charme und Klasse steckt. Viel Erfolg bei der Auktion. 🙏
I reckon being at this auction would be the event of the year. I can only imagine the level of interest being generated. There will be plenty of avid collectors who would know exactly what is being offered and they will be wanting to get their hands on the yearned-for items at any price. What entertainment. I hope they make an episode for telly about the auction. I think Drew Pritchard - as he often says himself - does have the best job in the world. Huge fan.
Those who love objects, who collect… what in their eyes… calls to their soul, are not always appreciated or understood by others. However, it is surely a driving force within that needs be acknowledged. But even collectors have moments in time to let go and it is a force as meaningful as the opposite… to acquire. Best wishes Mr Pritchard, onward to your destiny. California calling
This is a beautifully done video and well above the quality of your typical TH-cam channel. If you wish to target the high end collector this is what is needed. I applaud you! I also enjoyed seing a bit of your home and your personal collection as well. Just lovely.
I always get the impression that Drew is never exactly happy ...too much seriousness on his face . It's time to enjoy it all Drew , the money ,the reputation , the experiences ,all of it ! Too much business without pleasure is pointless methinks .
Those things are beautiful and what you collect represents bits and pieces of who you are. I love collecting rocks leaves branches things of nature but I also collect vases and small sculptures dishes and I have a few high quality pieces of furniture. I am a photographer and painter. I love surrounding myself with beautiful things
Drew. To much possession can also be a burden. Let the things go and enjoy the moments finding new amazing items. Rooms must not be filled up to the ceiling. A house can be furnished and not overloaded the same tome. Sometimes less is more. 😊😊😊.
Drew he has a good eye. It’s in the idiom of the “Cabinet of Curiosities”, we all have a slightly different take on that and how to go about creating our own unique bit of theatre but it’s more than that. Apologies but I don’t get how a lot of people don’t get it. Anyways, all the best with your Sale.
D.P.ought to be on the BBC as one of the great autodidacts - if only to tutor the ridiculously repetitive hosts on those coffee table flog its and bargain hunts in which integrity is virtually lost for cheap formulaic programming. Salvage |Hunters is a remarkable textbook, as is its host-author..... Thank you, DP
Most of it is old Stock he can't sell because he needs the money. He didn't sell his shop and Warehouse because he's Rolling in money. Just Bought a house in Bath for £800,000 so he needs money for a lot of restoration
Drew just watching your T V programme you paid £100 for a long print map of London would sell for £150.......I HAVE AN OLD CHICOLATE OR BICUIT TIN WITH OLD LONDON ON IT WOULD YOU BE INTERESTED IF EVER UP IN LIVERPOOL LET ME KNOW X
It looks to me like you have a whole load of crap & that you want to only upgrade to more crap, mish mash in style, don't bring class, only you think it might
From the USA......I wish I could have been there Drew. Part of your soul is in each piece sold. I know, your collection brought joy to many.
Have really enjoyed salvage hunters over the years, when you love old things to me it’s irrelevant what they worth it’s finding them makes me happy

Congrats!!! I follow every day in Romania. I remember your happiness when you found the wonderful sculpture from minute 1''18 in Holland...I think...

Sounds like you’re shedding an old skin Drew and morphing into a different chapter. Beautiful collection and curated home. All the best with the sale.

Amazing man
Drew es uno de los personajes más interesantes vistos en el sigloXXI y su programa es ya histórico.

Обратная сторона медали, по настоящему счастливы те у кого ничего нет
An assumption
You feel the pleasure in his voice though
You are correct not a happy man at all , some deep issues there and being ginger doesn’t help

Go with the heart and follow it through. There is profit out there if you stick tight to a budget, trust me I know.

Is Sir Ben still alive?
A modern John Soames.
You'll be sorry. Disconnect isn't that easy. From someone who did exactly this. 😢
Dreweatt's, please.It's palate, not " palette". They're different things.
It Going To Be a Great March Month ;-) Tuesday 5 & Wednesday 6 March 2024.
You'll regret it Drew😢
What is the purpose of buying things you love and then just get rid of it again? I would never understand that.
Cleanse the palate, NOT palette!
Megalomane con gusti di m.
I hope his ex takes him for every penny. Don't like the creep
Ex? did he get divorced??
