Found the recounting of your efforts to obtain the US visa amusing - I'll bet Philippa remembers all the important dates lol! As regards the Maccas "what can I do", just accept the reality of the situation as in nothing & 80% is not a bad score actually. Narration is 'top shelf', very entertaining.
Awesome video as usual. Philippa is a Beautiful Lady. Very good film maker also. Good to see a nice couple having a good time. Looking forward to the next video. Stay safe.
I've enjoyed watching all of your videos, though I'm not sure why this video was dubbed with Italian subtitles. God's speed, fair winds and following seas!!
Thanks for sharing another new video, I hope that all that was solved, pleasantly, I mean, and without major problems. I look forward to your next adventure ...
Episode 20 will put your channel of 10k Subs for sure. Glad to see you guys are well. Also, Phillipa walking up stairs is definently a treat. Have fun guys
Great video again... are you guys selling the beautiful Aequus? Just saw on yatchworld an aequus being promoted :).. neverless hope you guys the best of luck.. David.
There's always a delay between when the episode was filmed and the present day but I was surprised you had to be so far north (Chesapeake Bay) by 1st June, so I downloaded an app (Marine Traffic) and found out where you are today. Shocked, I am, quite shocked! Lovely episode, as always
Fun to follow you guys. I "stumbled" upon you by chance, we are going ourselves and are considering taking a few years out of the calendar and going out sailing. I was wondering, as an "old" sailor, that you never wear a life jacket or have a lifeline around/connected to you.
Thanks for the explanation of US Visa situation! Hoping Aequus and everyone stays safe during Tropical Storm Henri’s arrival on Long Island Sound. What a “Bummer” - to sail all the way from the ABC’s to avoid hurricanes only to find one in New York. Growing up on Long Island my family spent our Summers in Southampton. Please let us know that you made it through safely!
Having to get a us visa because of some of the places I have worked, I feel the pain. Still at least like you I now have I have it - loving the video as always and looking forward to seeing what you get upto as you head to the Us
That burning rubbish smell is one of those smells that lingers in the air and it actually gives me nightmares. I would have moved up wind because I wouldn't have been able to sleep with the smell.
Hi Boomer, you are absolutely right, sadly after already moving which took about 2 hours in total we couldn't move again or risked trying to get in somewhere safe in the dark, been there done that... lol... great to see you here
In general: I would like to thank you for the sharing of your honest and clear information. Very helpful!! I have a question for you: do think it's worth the money to buy a more expensive yacht for example Hallberg Rassy/Amel, over Bavaria/Jeanneau? Taken into account the depreciation, build quality and so on. From an economic point of view I understand the calculations but love to see your view as an end user.
Talking about the insurance explains why you guys have been showing up around Annapolis. All the red tape is a right faff on when it could all be done online. Philippa you can't say it's chilly in the Bahamas, You seem to be forgetting what its like back here in Blighty. I even had to put a coat on in Newcastle haha
Question: Would you still have chosen your big monohull over a 45 or 50 ft catamaran? I’m loving your videos! Just rewatched the one where you review the commissioning process and cost.

Lovely episode, as always

So good to see your post! Was getting worried :) Love seeing Aequus perform in the Ocean! Maybe we will get to see you guys at one of the Boat shows?
Agreed! It really IS a good looking boat when it's sailing!
Thank you Rico, yes that would be lovely..

I don't know if the Americas are ready for Phillipa and her new found beer swilling habits. James you are a brave man.
Lol Up North (New Hampshire) here we can swill with the best of them. She would have a great old time and fit right in.
I am actually likeing the beer thing, though one is enough and not in a pint glass!!! That is taking it tooooo far!! lol....
@@SailingAequus I drink mostly dark beer. So one is enough mostly the time. My other go too's are a good desert wine or small glass of grappa.
Just found y’all and wanted you to know you have a fan from Texas!!!
Thank you William, that's great
Thanks for the explanation of US Visa situation!

Hi Allan, living it now, episode to come ;)
80% as good as the real thing is pretty good. I would definitely stock up on those for breakfast at sea.
Haha love that Michael, think James is in agreement lol

Hi Mik, it is defintiely a thing, thank you for the meesage
I too share the guilty pleasure of a McDonalds sausage + egg Mcmuffin. Just the right amount of sugar and salt but good for the soul !
Great Chris... enjoy ;)
Guys really looking forward to your next video???? When’s it coming?????
I'm your new subs
Thank you :)

@@SailingAequus true, maneuvers at night can be dangerous and time consuming. Looks like made the best of it though.

What camera equipment do you guys use? Such epic quality!
Thank you, we use a few but we love our go pro hero 9

Philippa you can't say it's chilly in the Bahamas, You seem to be forgetting what its like back here in Blighty. I even had to put a coat on in Newcastle haha
What?! Nobody in Newcastle owns a coat... are you a southern ferret, used to warm burrows?
Haha... I know, you get spoilt lol
Very funny...

Very good question, we have never lived on a cat so at this moment we couldn't say...
A conex question with the previous...After several years sailing your Bavaria 57'...Do you think it has been a good election the boat size?
Quebec for the letter Q, we're known.
Uh oh! Don't know what happened to your marriage certificate? Than mean she's available? lol You guys are funny!
Hi Michael, that also made us laugh... lol
Philippa is not too impressed with McDonald's breakfast menu James is having.
Hi another James, not impressed at all.. lol
@@SailingAequus My spouse would respond the same if I did the same as James I.
How far behind are these videos as Dean said you're in New York currently?
A little way behind.... they take time to edit lol... ;)
FAAARRRR TOOOO RUFFFFFFF OH BUFFY !!!!! IS MUFFEEEEEE. OK. ???????
James has strange tastes. He has champagne taste in women, yet he loves McDonalds.... I don't understand..... ;)
Haha... very true..
Hi , content getting abit boring compared to other sailing channels , gonna split for a while.see ya
