I think what makes these products actually “worth” the money is the fact that they pretty much all seem to have something more unique, these are really fascinating to me! Also if you wondering, “Nuit” is pronounced noo-wee, and “creme de la nuit” literally just means night cream lol.
To be unnecessarily precise, it's not exactly "noo" but I can't find any american english word to compare the pronunciation of the french "u", the closest sound I can think of to compare is "Eww", but it's not exactly that either 🤷🏽♀️

"Unique" is just different, not necessarily effective. If I put chicken poop in a sunscreen, I could brand it as unique. Especially if I make a dubious claim about it's effect

Fun fact: Saffron can grow in some areas of the southeast US if given the right soil composition. It's just a very expensive thing to farm and has no farming subsidies to offset that cost. You can order bulbs and grow it yourself in the right zones!
She is formulated it right, that is all.We have Saffron in India, nothing very exquisite.But when you formulate it right it gives good results.

@@xristinarose2409 bummer. Everyone's skin is different! I saw an improvement in fine lines and dark spots. It's help with dryness (I've got combo skin so my perimeter is dry with an oily t zone) I've been using it for 2 years nows. Always follow with sunscreen or it's money down the drain. I apply it to damp skin and quickly follow up with a moisturizer and sunscreen. Good luck to you!
If you want to consider saving on your next purchase, try out the L'Oréal Revitalift. As long as you don't mind it being in a dimethicone base instead of water (which is a positive because it will last longer), it basically does the same thing. Same quality of vitamin C, as SkinCeuticals is owned by L'Oréal and they use the same labs/R&D.
I admit I psychologically NEED to use an eye cream, but damned if I’ll EVER use a neck cream.
I am so glad to find this video! I bought the Perricone MD neck product on sale at Costco. Dirt cheap compared to its normal price, but still a lot for me. It's definitely expensive but for the amount of saffron you need to colour/infuse a serum... it's like 3 threads (which is like 1 dollar). Also idk if I'd want to even put it on my face, because like tumeric, it stains your skin! Every time I cook with saffron I tend to get yellow fingertips!

Saffron is also cultivated in Greece, in the prefecture of Western Macedonia and I can confirm it is miraculously great and expensive.

Now I went in Polyclinic LabPLuS also in Zagreb and nice lady told me I have dermographism.My skin is now sooooo dry because I use from July 2021. Oronazol and now I have to use Lipikar Baume for hidratation.

Saffron is actually a staple in ayurveda and can be harvested from the Kashmir (foothills of Himalayas). Hence Indian luxury skincare (mostly mid range pricing according to American standards) has some pretty great options like kumkumadi oil. But yes they work a lot more slowly compared to actives, so they are meant to be a long term investment.

Please answer a question about Skinceuticals!!!! My facialist told me that is the only brand that has the correct amount of vitamin C and she also says it’s the only one that takes the ph factor whatever that means ???? That is what supposed to make vitamin c work?

If you want superior products w/ extremely well formulated products try Le Mieux, it means the best in French. The first ingredient in almost every product is their own hyaluronic acid combo they invented. If the 1st ingredient is not hyaluronic acid it will be another active benefitting the product. Classy, please look into this product line ,I have a strong feeling you will like what is in the products & what what is not in them. There are a few products that are priced high enough for me to go.🙄 However the majority for the ingredients & results you get or I have received, I love this line❣I truly hope it benefits someone, be well❣❣❣❣

ok looking at the Korean spelling it's like Troy - Ar - Ke (in Korean, there needs to be a vowel between the R and K sounds which is the "EU" and the pronunciation of that is kind of subtle
I believe for the longest time products with gold and honey were the most expensive skincare ingredients in South Korea along with ginseng and collagen and there's only a limited amount of cosmetic formulators and labs that know how to get the formulation right with these ingredients. Honestly, to this day there aren't that many companies that get a good formulation that includes honey, gold, or collagen, and if a South Korean company is selling a product with these ingredients chances are the products are actually somewhat decent or actually good.

The skinceuticals vitamin c is the first vitamin c I’ve used in a long time that’s actually helped with my older hyperpigmentation. I’m using the naturium one right now and it’s nice but I’m not sure if it’s helping or not yet
Revolution Skincare have a perfect dupe (it’s so good, I wouldn’t even call it a dupe: it’ stands on its own) It’s simply called Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid 😻 I love it. The Ordinary Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid have amped up my skincare game - and it’s thanks to Cassandra just breathing it out in a sentence in a video about The Ordinary product and my ears soaked it in, thank you Cassandra! 😸🙏
The Ordinary Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid is luxury to a very nice price and that’s all the neck cream I need. I put resveratrol on my tata’s, on my belly, bum bum, my hands underneath my hand cream (aka my regular body lotion) .
To put some of the regular skincare (especially retinol, vitamin C and resveratrol - maybe peptides...) and moisturisers and spf on a daily basis is way better than a neck cream. I’m speaking out of my own experience here 🌸😺🌸 I love k beauty and j beauty. Especially mushrooms, rice/sake/galactomyces, Centella Asiatica. If I wasn’t a vegan I’d definitely use honey and that super honey 🍯 and snail mucin. But no.. I can’t 😿 🤷🏼♀️😿

I got La Mer cream from my boyfriend as a gift :( I felt really bad because it's so overpriced, but actually I started using it as occlusive for night and it works really well on my skin.
